Getting repeatable CTD trying to create custom character with both (and only) EPE and ED installed. Same thing happens with just EPE and SD2, and just EPE and Better Ruler Designer.

i do not have ll mods and do not plan to use em tbh

also EPE and ED did use to work well together as i recall , i used them together for a long time ,before i was forced to stop due to the roads to power dlc

Okay, this is all sorted now with the new CBO multipatches for ED-EPE-CFP plus the SD2-CBO patch. No more CTD.

If you are using EPE with ED, it's not going to work without the LL mods, because the CBO multipatch is the only patch for EPE+ED until someone does a vanilla patch and posts it on Steam. You can still turn nudity off with the LL mods -- the CBO body has much better meshes than the vanilla one, and the proportions are far more realistic than the wierdly skinny vanilla body, and you obviously don't need to use any of the sex options if you don't like them. Just don't click on the "Make Love" interaction and turn nudity off and you'll just have people that look better in clothing.

I actually thought whoever sent those messages to me was either a bot or was joking, because not one of my posts could be described as sexually explicit or NSFW. I read the rules in the Crown Laws section when I joined the server and was not violating any of them. Rule 8 of AGOT's Crown Laws regarding NSFW content specifically says "there are ways of talking about mature content without getting explicit." Telling someone where to go to find CBO is not "getting explicit" under any definition of the phrase. Explicit NSFW content is generally considered to be such things as e.g., sexually explicit photos, drawings, comics, or illustrations which broadly speaking would considered lewd, including but not limited to photos where the parties are engaged in a sex act; photos of sex toys; photos of genetalia; a story or post describing a sexual encounter; a rant that talks inappropriately about sex. Even reposting photos from the Getty Museum's extensive collection of nude photographs would be deemed NSFW by most people, no matter how tasteful, innovative and/or artistic they were. But taking the last point as an example, giving someone directions to the Getty Museum, which has marble statues of ancient nudes, paintings of nudes, and photos of nudes among its gigantic collection, could never be considered an NSFW comment by any rational person. "Oh, the Getty, yeah, it's two streets down, take a left, there's underground parking, have a nice day" is not an NSFW comment. I'm a lawyer, I know how to construe language, and I wasn't violating their rules. But I didn't (and don't) want to waste my time arguing with the devs (or dev) about it. And, unless there's some discord-related reason to discuss it, I think this topic has run it's course.

So I was curious and did a little trial and error, and found the only file you need to make ED and EPE compatible from the above mentioned 4 mod patch is Common\genes\01_genes_morph.txt. Borrowing from the existing patch and running as standalone mod neatly fixed the problem. I'm not uploading because I have no permissions to do so, but thought it was worth a mention :).

i seem to be getting a similar issue, Marilayne Gwynthorn with this load order has clothes missing on 867 start date

edit: for anyone having issues, load in this order

This is just vanilla clothing, not CBO. The mod author (csirke128) posted a day or so ago that the EPE patches need to be updated for CBO, which is why (for those playing with CBO) there is nekkidness everywhere and the default clothing is a simple white robe even though the dropdown says "No clothes." Annoying, but he's pretty great about updating his patches.

Sorry for resurrecting an old thread; my apologies. However, I have downloaded all the combined patches, CBO, Carnalitas, etc. etc. but all the characters in-game seem to be naked and T-posing 🤣 Is there a mod (EPE, CPE, ED, etc.) which hasn't been updated? Is this happening to anyone else? Or could I have potentially botched the load order?

If you're going to make a compatch for EPE, you might as well go all in and make it for both EPE and CFP, because EPE + CFP is just the way to play, y'know?

Just saying though, it seems like with CBO, a patch already exists... although, it doesn't seem like there's a "cleaner" compatch for ED + EPE/CFP. At least, not one that's up-to-date.

csirke128 just updated CBO on Friday, and the CFP-CBO patch is updated as well. The CFP+EPE+ED patch is a couple months old and won't work, so for the full Monty everyone's just going to have to wait until he does yet another update fix.
