House Darkwood of Gaul

Originating from Burgundy, House Darkwood upon their ascenstion consolidated power in their region before raising to Royal Politics, enchanting the Karlings of West Francia to become their Human Thralls. Upon the ascenation of a Boy King Louis, House Darkhood took upon themselves to become the Eternal Regants of France, governing long beyond the majority of his Majesty. Eventually, the Karlings grew weary this subjugation and attempted to disbar the Darkwoods, which only led to disaster. The Darkhoods took the throne and forged the Throne of Gaul, conquering much of Western Germany and the Benelux. A Rich, Powerful Realm, Gaul stands as the beginning of Elven Supreamacy in Western Europe
