The Black Brides arrive through the reclaimed and restored portal of the Realm Lord. In the hour of the owl they make their approach known. Sending one of their own into the bed chambers of the new champion of elven kind. Their skin accursed by sun, pale and gray some sporting even unnatural hues of dark blue and purple.

"We are the Black Brides, the wives of the lord of slaughter and war. There is only one way to unite the realm as you are surely by now aware, the lesser races are not worth to thread the ground or share in our races bliss. Do you embrace our offering and might that is the lords blessing?"

Unlike the Aelurian Weavers that try to push the Realm lords influence in a certain direction to spread their own power or monopolize upon making Aelurian vassals. The Black Brides thrive on acts of cruelty, blood and war.

The player if accepting of their deals would gain a trait called 'Chosen by Black'

It would contain 4 tires that would increase with the amount of conquest , torture and executions that they perform. At certain points events would trigger where the Black Brides would lure the Realm Lord into performing a ritual in which a heir would be birthed through one of them.

One of their first tasks after a heir is secured would be that the realm lord slowly but surely corrupts the sites within their possession and by doing so they would reclaim pieces of spark infused relics that pulse with a thirst for evil.

This action once completed in one location would trigger a large dip in negative relation with the nearest elven lords/Aelurian Weavers.

The resulting skirmish would be the mechanical trigger for the trait Chosen by Black.

The dark lords voice would ring in your head as you commit the first sin of many, sending you down a path with no recurse. Your lineage and bloodline tainted.

Formatting could be probably better but I just wanted to write out some of the ideas I had.

Also instead of the gem, there would probably be a Chalice that would be the corner stone of the Black Brides, used for rituals and triggering further events along with it being used for the tainting of holy sites.

Could lead to some very brutal Civil wars, if, say, some members of your family don't follow the Brides

I have no clue on modding, but id try to insert some kind of event or maybe backdoor thing that the Brides have their own fingers in the pie, either by supporting a claimant or that they give out items based on the relations with your sons/daughters towards the faith.

I based it around the entire elf superiority and well going after Morgoth/Melkor idea

Though I guess you could use captured elves to 'corrupt them into dark elves' and turn them to the Black Brides religion.
