Some suggestions I have for elf sub-cultures
Snow Elves: Elves that primarily live in northern scandinavia and a bit of the northern steppe, they get bonuses in taiga, mountains, and variants of winter (mild, normal, and harsh). They also start out with the mountain homes and sacred mountains. They have whiter skin and hair
Sea Elves: Elves that primarily live in the Mediterranean islands like Sardinia and Cyprus.
they get bonuses to raiding, tradeports and naval speed. They start out with the Battlefield Looters and Maritime Mercantilism cultural traditions. They have pale blue skin and complete white eyes and hair. (I basically stole it from the elder scrolls series).
Dark Elves: Elves that primarily live in Africa and some of Arabia. They get bonuses in the desert and jungle. They start out with the Dryland Dwellers and Jungle Dwellers. As expected they have dark skin and hair.
