great idea
I like this idea, but it needs to have a drawback. Ideas...
-Can send children to be raised in a pure elven society beyond the portal, and they gain a special education trait that can only be gained through this method, and its very powerful (Ex: +4 to all traits, +40% to lifestyle focus). However, once they return, they look down on anyone-everyone who isn't the highest tier of ELF, and an additional opinion penalty of anyone who doesn't have that same trait. *Elven superiority taken to the max!
-Maybe they come back with a non-human companion, such as a fairy, or a special mount like a dire wolf (they became one of the wolf-cavalry from the beast-tamers culture trait
Oh my it would go so well with my supremacist gameplay
that's a good idea
maybe sending them away for 20 years and they gain one Elv rank and seeing every other Human and Elv under there level as lesser beeings. For Humans -100 or -200 and for every Elv rank rank under them like -20 or something like that.
Elves having an opinion penalty of lower-tier elves, and especially regular humans, is probably something that should exist regardless.
As for the adult version of this event, it depends on how extreme the mod-creator wants the 'Elven Supremacy' aspect to go. In the extreme, I think the 'fey' (the territory beyond the portal) would automatically reject anyone who is already an adult.
*side note, I think the 'fey archers' regiment should not be available until after the portal is rebuilt. Otherwise, where are they actually coming from?
*Another side note, the variouse cultural developments to the elven culture (the rut, beast tamers, etc) should probably not be available until after the portal is rebuilt because you would need contact with the fey to gain those influences. Gaining them from old ruins seems like a stretch
blessings come from our god, not from the elves of the other world. However for the rest I agree with you, it would also be interesting to be able to unlock a new kind of tradition, linked to the elven culture of the other world, more supremacist and I do not know what else. So they would refuse humans, half-elves, and maybe even elven traits below a certain level?
