I've seen several instances of shrines and chest placed in ways that can get player stuck in the map.
Add a menu option to request a "respawn" because I'm stuck.
This will quickly resolve a lot of your map layout issues.
You worried about people abusing this to avoid pvp battles. Add an extended cast time to it. 20seconds?
Doesn't have to be a fresh respawn, just offset the player to a known safe nearby location.

Theres an alter in hell castle that you fall forever if you get caught behind it.

When mercenaries are stuck, they seem to have a teleport, so i know there's background code somewhere that adjusts player location in emergency situations

So what 15 seconds of sitting in the pause screen to "unlock" respawn?

On WoW, you had to be out of PvP mode which was no attacks and not attacked for 5 sec.
But this game engine observes battles differently, and im not for reprogramming anything. That will cause more bugs, from what ive seen so far from these devs.

I died in freaking normal just lvling bc I got stuck behind a chest and then in nm on my other rogue bc I was free falling in a double jump tower used and e stone and it was just out of side of where I could get thankfully I took videos
