#Nerf Rogue

I thought poison just whittled down barriers.
I have mixed feelings about removing stun from backstab tho. #nerffrosttouch
Rogue isn't particularly strong this ps (not considering soul stones ofc, but that's another discussion) since last nerf, poison is one of the only reasons they still do decent dps at high GS, and that eats a skill slot for a buff that runs on a 20 hit counter that only starts its long CD after all 20 hits are used on a creature or object. I think rogue is in a good spot, more nerfs would make them fairly weak.
Yea like I have a protection shield up that wasn't broken how am I getting stunned and poisoned?
The shields act as temporary hit points that's why effects carry through.
Doesn't explain the stuns though
Stunning me while not hitting me is crazy work
Like a stun gun will only work if it hits you
I agree that poison shouldn't carry through barriers, the protection spell protects from other effects like a war mauls stagger when the damage is absorbed by the shield.
I actually think this needs to be changed as a whole. Having a barrier never should have made you immune to cc of any kind.
I get that its probably for clerics since they have no movement abilities and theyre the main class that running a barrier 24/7
But barriers should just prevent damage.
Why should chugging a 50 gold pot give me a free spell shield? Barrier pots should either work like shrines, where they just reduce damage, or they absorb a certain number and thats it.
IMO Casted shields should be the only ones that absorb cc for you, it would also give them a unique aspect instead of "everyone gets an extra shield pot" or "extra shield pot, but stronger"
I agree with the fact protection pots shouldn't be on par with clerics protection ability.
