Community managers cant do shit to convince the devs. Their jobs are to try to manage the community, which honestly, i hope they getting paid well, because this dumpsterfire has got to be on the tougher side to manage. They've must likely already reiterated the concerns of the playerbase to the dev team multiple times(we have a poll to show how fucking glaring this issue is).

Their job is to keep the playerbase from being a septic waste pool, not to make the developer see reason.

Is that all you’re asking? We are players also, and we noticed the changes with a cringe aswell. Atleast the ranger is feeling nicer now! So is the cleric! And a ton of mage changes to guide players away from TS Spam.

We must alway remember we are playing a pre-release. Intended for helping gauge and make change! We can only hope such adamant developments continue into the future! We can only hope the balancing and attention continue. A ton of content was released, through skill tree and skill gems, through arena. And the shadow realm soon. My assumption is the late release of the pve is due to mechanical issues, and I’m sure they are working diligently on that!

Balance is not easy.

In life we only have control of our perspective and our reaction. Choose to look away from the “op barb” discussion. View the costumes, the charm update, the constant Small Balance Tweaks, see this as continued support and a dedicated team. It’s difficult to give concrete answers to the questions you’re asking for. Instead: view the abstract reality. They are putting forth effort, we can only hope this continues through the longevity of the game past preseason development.

@azure fable Hey, as CM Torch mentioned, we try our best not to work during weekends or post work hours. I personally was off on Friday so I was unable to see this thread. I appreciate your passion for the game and you are heard. We create weekly sentiment/feedback reports to relay to the devs so rest assured that your frustrations and suggestions are being seen and considered. Please remember that we are in early access and the devs cannot address and fix complaints/bugs in a blink of an eye - -especially something like balance which is a lot more complex than it might seem. I'm sure you know but every change affects a ton of interconnected systems—stats, abilities, gear, progression, and even how characters interact in different team compositions or game modes. Something that might look like a simple stat tweak can actually create new issues elsewhere, sometimes even breaking things in ways we couldn’t predict. Especially as buggy as the game is, we wouldn't want to risk it without the proper protocols and testing. Please be patient as we work to create a better game and be respectful, as we do sincerely appreciate your feedback.

You also mention you will ping us "until one of us does our jobs"... out of curiosity, what do you expect us to accomplish to resolve the situation you mentioned? We have already addressed that we are considering your feedback and have relayed it to the developers. 😢 please be respectful!

1 it is work hours that were listed both Thursday afternoon when I posted it Friday the following day and today Monday
2 none of the cm response that any post here has been responsive
3 im not looking for bug fixes the issue I raise aren’t bug honestly the game has been very good about fixing bugs quickly this is a balance issue Iv Meade this distinction very clear and by getting you to do your job is be a CM tell the community the devs are gonna fix their shit soon or tell us you guys don’t know how to balance a game so we can leave the reason your seeing this type of complaining is because aside from balance the game is wonderful but we can’t enjoy your wonderful game when barb is so oppressive

Going to jump in here real quick, what answer are you looking for from the CM team? It's already been explained that the best we can do is tell the devs what the community is saying, after that it's out of our hands. So just curious, knowing this and being told this, what do you want the CMs to say?

Maybe we're not being clear in that the devs and cm are two completely separate teams with separate locations and jobs.

Being completely honest with you, we're the link for players to devs and players to direct devs isn't something that can easily be done due to the amount of work they have. If you think we ignored you, devs are extremely busy coding and going over feedback reports and internal testing and balancing that they wouldn't be able to reply to you. I won't go over everything else that was said about time and patience because you already know that's how this works. The best thing we can do and the best thing that can happen is that you drop your feedback, we put that in our weekly reports, and the devs get around to it when they can.

That's the honest truth and telling you to kick rocks seems harsh but we won't get an answer any time soon. If you want to check back in a couple of weeks I would recommend that but even then, we (CMs) don't have any current insight into their priorities on what they are looking to balance. Remember that they also have internal game data that they take into account alongside player feedback.
