There is a key issue where teammates abandon you in fights, let you die, then loot your crate and convert everything into rank points and coins for themselves, completely ruining the cooperative experience and encouraging toxic gameplay. A better system would be one like Area Breakout, where if you extract with a teammate’s loot, it’s automatically returned to them. This would prevent players from exploiting fallen teammates and ensure a fairer experience. This will also present gear swapping.

I think it would absolutely be fair to completely disabled team loot to discourage the backstabbing behavior. It's thematic that's for sure. But it is an absolute feels bad.
On that note, is that behavior considered abusive and violating any rules?
I have absolutely watched players try to get their team killed before whether it's through stupidity or malice, there should be no reward.
