Im not against it.
ok
The only counter argument I have is from the Dev standpoint and cosmetics being a way to earn money: as seen with their gotcha rolls on the cosmetics. Those slot machine addiction tactics are 🤮
Yeah but if your using silver to buy the item the player market will at least have a high cost for them so they're would still be a need for silver also these items will get more valuable as each season goes on
So people will have to pay more and more silver
That’s like trickle down economics. Your saying having more things available will make more things? False I’m F2P I’ll farm purples and buy that Purchased Cosmetic off you.
It won't be for gold it will be for silver and last I checked it's decently hard to get but if it was easy to get the said cosmetics values would rise creating even more profit
So farming purples and legendarys would do nothing for you
When you sell purples to the trader you get the silver token you’re referring to. If it’s silver dust you can accumulate that by failing upgrading purples. Not farmable but obtainable.
In games cosmetics are a way for the company to make money- without causing a P2W dilemma
Plat? Thst you use in place of Time Sands? That’s a p2p/ lucky it’s in rank rewards for now currency. So I suppose for plat- but even reclaiming a lege is 1k plat, and again it would convolute their profit area.
Those are dark coins that reset not platinum coins
OP suggested “silver coins”
Idk I was just trying to make the point that cosmetics are their way to make &.
So what exactly are you proposing? Selling your cosmetics to me for my plat?
Idk makes sense to have the separate currency the way they do.
I thought silver was plat maybe I misunderstood
Silver is from using the merchant to sell purples to the trader.
Idk either way even plat from me to you for cosmetics it just all seems too much.
I wish they had fleshed the idea out more- I can’t see a way to make the cosmetics like tradable- or why do it tbh.
Especially in light of knowing they want their $ for rng rolls
Late reply but around 12.5 or 1/7 percent of people I see happen to have goblin or mummy at 30000divided by 1/8x10=37500
