U get Mc saucey up in there
W review
Imo they should remove hard mode as it just divides the players even more making the queues long or filled with bots. the loot difference isnt even worth it most of the time
i think its okay but need to up the loot thats in there
also support gear should be sellable to merchants because most of the time im facing players who are in nothing but support gear in hell mode so killing them isnt worth it money wise
maybe for cheap but they should make support gear unlimited and free
you shouldn't have to wait for it to refresh if u want to run another one
yeah, make it worth atleast something instead of 0 gold
having 500+ gear score that costs 0 gold is crazy
since they already lose 500g when they die they have penalty from that
the 500gs is just arbitrary, they could remove the lowest limit on hell so you could go in with any gear
the purple support gear gives the same +1 vig as the blue gear, it just adds gs so you can go higher
so it changing GS doesnt really matter since the gear itsself is still the same stats
the problem isnt really the gearscore, its just super unrewarding to fight people who use support gear, especially if they're using S tier mercs
W sauce post
unrewarding yes because the fight is you one shotting them, if it was a good player they would run away, heal, kite you, do everything they can instead of face tanking. Even in support kits Spina and me were killing geared players/teams in arena. I think its mainly a skill issue which is why I'm saying give the neewbs unlimited support gear
So if you fought a player like that but in a support kit you would probably still feel rewarded because you killed a skilled player not because you got their juicy gear
Thank you
I agree with most/all of your points. the collection and merc system's are definitely over tuned and unfair to player's who don't hard grind the game and/or understand the system, it's nice having some bonuses for playing more but the buff amount is absurd
one thing you didn't talk about but feels a bit crazy is how general gearing feels, the difference between a bis blue and a good rolled gold is astronomical because the substat min/max rolls increase each tier, I feel like this isn't very healthy for the game as a person in blues/purples would have literally 0 chance against a decent player in purples/golds, I get we beat some people in support gear in arena but you have to remember we had collection/merc bonuses so it still wasn't fair
it's fine if they want to balance around end game gear rolls being crazy but how it was balanced in this play test just felt unfair
Yes I think lesser stats like action speed, attack speed, debuff duration are all fine to have as "buffs" but raw stats+ Health is just too much extra vs new players.
Yes this is a issue but people in support gear would be at even more of a disadvantage then just in blues/greens. Maybe they should make the base stat roll a certain number so it levels that out more?
I feel like its only unbalanced because of collection/merc bonus
youre not getting that big of a stat increase on green to legend unless the rolls are good. Its mainly about the PDR stat
I think base stats should be the bigger rarity difference and substats should be more in tune with other tiers, being a bit better is fine but the every single substat a good gold has being almost double a blue is insane

I agree
I didn't look at the pdr difference per tier alot so I can't comment on this
I was going to screenshot every skill/perk to give exact balance tips/feedback but I forgot ):
rippp lol, enimga has a pretty good review over the classes if u didnt see that one
I was thinking about doing one but he pretty much covers it
Imma read both your reviews in a bit
Just attending a birthday first
The classes for me were hard because I didn’t really PvP in the dungeon, you guys would definitely have a better feel for some stuff but just playing and seeing how others play those classes i might be decently close to how fights go or how it would play out
I like the merc thing with getting bonuses is kind of op compared to other people that weren’t just lucky. I like the idea of using boss shards to save crafting chances maybe so it’s more than a cosmetic or crafting, make it used widely. The collections is a big topic because some people find it op op, maybe they could have it as a slow burn that picks up more as the levels increase or something, just hard for someone that’s not an insane grinder which might help if people make videos explaining different things in the game
And the loot at low levels definitely a turn away because new players will stay in there until they feel they can clear mobs in a few easy hits when they really should go up in dungeons
Also it’s kind of hard to have it as geared versus new players because I think the idea was support gear score puts you up into the nightmare/hell while normal and hard is where the people around you will sit
On the last day with blues so cheap I was gearing in blues and min-maxing my stats. Experience and knowledge does create a rather huge skill gap.
The dude I fought while in blues and he had legends was definitely a real person. He talked in global afterwards. And he didn't really strategize at all. I used a doorway to keep him pinned and let the circle close on him. He could have left. Or pushed. He instead let me "gatekeep"(as he called it) the doorway and stood in the zone while I was taking stabs with my spear. And with the Cleric I got him up to 51 knowledge and 91 magic power in unupgraded blues. And it coulda been higher if I found more +2 +2 Knowledge equipment. Or realized to look for Magic Power for the same result.
For me at least I felt like Support and going straight to purple dungeon gear was an easy crutch that made it take longer to sit down and actually learn gear mechanics.
I did notice a potential big issue. I could NOT find enough green loot in the normal dungeon to advance to the hard dungeon. And I suspect the same can be said about the Hard into the Nightmare.
At least in Goblin caves. I think Castle has a higher tier drop rate.
