This is the same glitch that has occurred multiple times in previous seasons, if you're playing on pro lead or bass the first note after an emote break will cause an extra strum input instantly breaking combo, the only workaround for this is to hit the first note out of the break late. This clip was recorded on PC, and I am unsure if this is also happening on console too.

When I saw this bug yesterday I wanted to cry so bad.. I thought too that we got rid of it but apparently bugs come back like a freaking boomerang 😭 btw I play on PS4 with riffmaster 😭 😭 😭

Yup the nightmare bug is back! I use a crkd guitar and the bug is happening to me on ps5, Xbox series x, and pc.
(Just a reminder, whenever there’s a break measure just strum late on the first note and it should continue your streak/combo)

The crazy part is they acknowledged the bug in the last update like 2 weeks ago and they've still yet to fix it

It would be really nice if they fix bugs instead of adding content nobody cares about in the shop.. priority should be making the game PLAYABLE and now it's not at all. Festival is a bug after another.. yesterday I played the pro lead of Everlong with a friend.. I had 2000 notes in total, and somehow my friend had 1980.. now explain this to me.. and btw we both couldn't see the band score cause it was literally cut in half.. and we both use different HUD and consoles.. without even mentioning that using the tilt for the overdrive is just a remote dream now

It is true, the problem is that not always that's possible.. for example when after the break there's some fast sequence you most likely still strike.. but yeah this little escamotage works if you can time it correctly
