Since the launch of Chapter Seven, Brick Life hasn’t been in its best state, especially when it comes to bugs and inconveniences that are still being ignored as of the time this post gets out. Below is my list of old and new errors that still exist in the game across multiple platforms (images will be posted later):
• A visual error exists where players occasionally spot others in game holding BR pickaxes that were released for April Fools this year.
• Game occasionally freezes/lags out of nowhere.
• The Heroic Triumph Statue and Elite Shatter Spawn Trophy are apparently unobtainable in the mode despite being tagged as BL compatible.
• Residential and job task pop-ups no longer show up properly in the top-right of the screen.
• When you fixed a previous issue with the Daft Punk lights in early February, their colour customisation was suddenly disabled, spoiling the creative aesthetics of multiple players’ builds and limiting creativity options in general.
• In non-apartment lots, decor elements are slightly misaligned with each other, making player builds look a little unpleasant and sometimes even hindering the ability to place decor next to each other.
• While in edit mode, selected decor can sometimes disappear even without using the return button, while the furniture count in the build is left unaffected.
• The Overwatch update brought another inconvenience in edit mode where you can’t place decor in the same spot/area it was in before.
• The Collection tabs keep getting unnecessarily reset sometimes, posing some level of annoyance to players who worked hard to discover all the recipes and fish.
We know that the team’s focus is on Odyssey right now (which is still a good thing), but if any of you are reading this, it would be great if you could fix these BL issues ASAP so the players who do love this mode can have a smoother and less inconvenient experience.
