Add Jetpacks for fun

I wish we could fly up, descend safely, and hover to shoot at enemies like a jet trooper or mandolorian. This item would use battery cells to fuel the jetpack which is the durability. Make the durability fair and worth crafting for. While flying, the maximum seconds you can stay up in the air is 10 seconds. These type of items need to be added more to give players new ways to play the game.

I think, the way that everything else is in odyssey, this would be an upgrade to the glider. It would still work to land safely but with the added ability to jump higher and hover a little bit. And I think it would be fine for it to not have durability but still require fuel cells to build it.

(Works like the br version)
Goes in glider slot
Can go 1:30 of sustained flight before breaking
Materials needed
-2 power cells
-10 metal plates
-5 brightcore

The flight time is one thing, but how high would it go? As high as you can until it breaks or not too high you sustain alot of fall damage after it does break?

Imo, no durability, ~5 seconds of solid thrust before it quits but then quickly recharges after you land.

Definitely needs cells to build but should also require something a bit harder to obtain like brute scales or bear fur.

While you have a point the concept is purely to give metal plates and brightcore use due to their overwhelming ease of access but a better version of higher rarity can use your suggestion

Perhaps it could have forward flying mode or a boost like the war machine jetpack

It should instead be a new version of the jet pack, double tap the jump button and it'll boost you into the sky like a jump pad and then you can redeploy your glider or you can keep boosting (you get 3 boosts once the jetpacks fully recharged)
