In all seriousnes, I, and many others, dislike the new essence table. Its not near better than the old one, in fact not spending gems is WORSE. You're spending durability and longer time(i know, thats what you want, epic, more playtime, but still) to get something that doesn't even last long. And the fact that you have to roll 'runes' away, pushing away all the time you just spent getting the essences, is just dumb.

The idea is simple:
Keep the runes. Spending time to get runes and higher tiers is a good idea.
Once you have a higher tier rune, the lower tier goes away, unless you toggle it for some unknown reason, less clutter.
Make it back into a list, no rolling, or at least make it free. Its annoying to waste time to roll for a chance at nothing (gambling in fortnite real??
Make it cost gems again. You just added emerald, with one other rune.

And last but not least: this is lego fortnite, now I think that you just collabed with minecraft on this.

oh, note that 10 rerolls is 500 essence. mixed with 75, what are you getting out of this instead of just not using the essences?

Yeah i dislike the system too.. I think i would be on board with the new essence table if they removed the random factor and the rerolling. If i am making a pickaxe, i am not attacking with it and dont need enchantments for dropping more health or luck lol. Also i like it slightly better after getting Klombo Tome's, that seems to level up the durability buff to a level 3 durability. Which is more what i was looking for.

But yeah, just let us stockpile more than 500 essences, and just let us pick from the list of buffs lol, why the random? why the rerolling costing 50? Very randomly punishing.

Also it gets better, if you hunt down Klombo Tomes and upgrade the essences to level 3. The level one essences still show up in the rerolls lol.. WHY

level 3 essence costs 150 essences?? jesus.. i just want to make a new pickaxe why the big deal 😭

and the same essence cant be applied twice. smiles widely...

Yeah...Luckily they stay active for that tool. So i had to go away from the table, collect more essences and then i came back and the level 3 durability that i wanted was still there, so THEN i could apply it.

Like, fine - use this system for weapons if you feel you need to have that. But for a pickaxe or axe? At that point your unnecessarily inhibiting my ability to collect resources and build. Very frustrating..
