SHEEP AND COWS NOT COMING OUT OF BARNS

I know some others have reported this but I have not seen any answers for it.

Is this the new way now, that they will no longer roam around during the day in the village?

I personally loved them roaming and doing their little quirky dance and heart/happiness interactions after patting them. They also encouraged visits from the outside farm animals too and now they are "locked up" I have not really seen any visit or come nearby the villages.

My question is: Will these animals return to roaming or will they continue to be basically locked up in their barns?

I’m also having this problem with my sheep and cow - tried everything! Even removing their barns but they aren’t even there then.. following for a fix 🤞🏻

They have no answers. But I can say that when you release all those animals and them get them again they work as intended.

I only know because I have a farm for cows and have 3 that never come out and roam and them adopted 3 more that come and go.

I found that kicking them off your farm and getting new animals seems to fix it
If you go to your village square and remove the animals via that and then you can bring new ones in

Yes i tried that just now and was about to leave a note here also .... however, my rebel base wont let me dismiss the animals - the village totem is no longer showing that option to dismiss it only shows an option to change their names so im still stuck with these in the barns 😵‍💫

SO I was thinking about this today. Can you just remove their barns for now? Eventually they will be unhappy and leave. I know on my main island i can ask them to leave. On Star Wars it makes sense to not be able to ask them to leave since we cannot release a rebel villager.

Try to just kill the barn and let it sit for a bit and see if they just leave due to unhappiness

just was brainstorming with a friend. Till they fix this issue, seems like cows are the only problem. My chicken farm i could kick from village totem.
