At first i thought finding my villagers was a waste of time but seeing as you can’t move a villager from one biome to another finding them gives you the opportunity to place them where you want them. Took my time to find Blackheart & Sally Sails to put them in my desert biome because i have no use for my shore biome as of now and i find myself never going there after leveling it up to 10. Congrats on the finds, Sally Sails is a clean skin. Also you can in fact move them from one village to another. Although tedious, I wouldn’t rule it out as impossible

Thanks! I remembered you telling me a method that i suggested to a user on Reddit who had the same problem. They then tested the method and it unfortunately did not work. Here is their explanation on why: “i just tested this, i took a villager to explore with me, destroyed their bed, was playing for much longer than 5 in game days, however they were still assigned to the original village. when i dismissed them they were there and it still said 5 days. i think since the update, taking them with you pauses the 5 day cycle. i also noticed that when you take someone to explore, their bed becomes unassigned”.

Had a try at a few things and 1 method worked out. That method was to tell the villager to explore with you, destroy the village totem for I think it was 5 days? And then they would no longer be tied to that village. But this also means you will lose ALL the villagers you have at that village as well. So while it is technically possible, it means destroying a whole village for the sake of moving a villager
The original objective was to move a villager from one village to another, so I guess based off that objective it was a success? But at what cost that success came at is too much imo

ah the new updates gave back the material... so if the other villager is not rare, then destroying a village is a good strategy to move a rare one
