#Delay in "balls" of cash being accepted into XXL counters

I'll attach a video showing the issue. Essentially, sometimes there's a slight lag for when "balls" (300 bills) of cash is accepted into XXL counters, which can lead to them sliding off the counter instead of going into the input. In the provided video there's instances of the ball being accepted immediately as well as instances of the ball being momentarily "piled" on the XXL input for a moment before being accepted into the machine.

Version 1.3.0.541. No mods, no cheats, fully vanilla.

To add to this, this sometimes applies to other inventories than XXL counters. Boxes and pallets for instance

It's not just hand full of cash, it's the counter itself, experimental caused the hitbox of "counter collect" being smaller somehow.

I have the same issue, mainly in how much smaller the hitbox for the XXL counter hopper.
previously I was able to place an entire pile between two counters and it would be accepted into both split by however priorities work.

For me, it happens to any container. Drop stuff to go in the washing machine? They fall in front of it and then suddenly go in. Pile forms on top of the marked sorter before being sucked in, packs sit on top of boxes for a second before they are taken. ANY container (yes, the machines count as containers)

I've also had a couple times where a not-full sorter wouldn't accept any bills until I hit start on it

Gonna respond here instead of making a separate thread since it's related to the whole same pile of optimizations; I've been having a lot of trouble loading bills into laundry machines (especially the industrial ones) and the marked bill sorters in this experimental update. The optimizations clearly went a bit too far and it's a bit of a pain in the arse now

I've also noticed when trying to load the XXL sorters, sometimes it'll load only part of a ball (300 bills) into the sorter and then poof the others out like when you deplete a pile - even when there's enough space for all the bills and it shouldn't be poofing any of them. I've even noticed it sometimes happening with handfulls (100) bills dropped directly in the loading zone

the marked bill sorter hitbox has decreased significantly in the latest experimental update. I can have a big pile of money on top of them and it just won't feed into it. kind of a pain in the ass!

i came here to second this. something has significantly changed with how bills snap into machines and piles in this update, and the marked bills sorter is the most obvious by far. it's awful, to the point that i'm abandoning this playthrough to wait for a fix.
