#Trash generation botched in 1.0.7.54
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
- Trash is now VERY uncommon.
As a sample, here are 13 containers from 6 orders I just received.
There is zero trash across all of them.
Having a box with no trash or extra items in it was a relatively rare sight prior to the latest update. Now it's the other way around, trash is almost as rare as necklaces.
- As reported by multiple people, containers now drop a single model of trash. Like you get a dozen S keys and nothing else.
- Random distribution of which trash you get seems skewed. Here's all trash I got from fulfilling a several dozen orders.
I got the red ribbons like five times and S keys about the same. I have not received ANY other pieces of trash. It's like if it goes to paper then it's almost always the red ribbons.
- Twice now I have received a box that had one - ONE - metal shell casing it. Just one. This has never occured before 1.0.7.54. On some rare occasions I would find a box with like 3-4 trash items in it (it's usually more) but never one.
Can we please go back to how it was prior to this update? The distribution was good and receiving mixed trash made a lot more sense.
Interesting how your distribution is so much different than mine. I've had the same problem. Except all my paper and plastic trash has been thin cardboard strips and pink fragments respectively.
Yeah I don't know what's going on. I got a couple paper pieces but still mostly red straps
I'm still getting MOSTLY the S keys, none D yet, not a single pink fragment.
I'm starting to feel like the distribution is heavily skewed but in a different manner per user.
that's two rows for all the keys btw 🥲
do they also stay the type of trash they were now?
Yes, including pre-patch trash (I assume it's randomly assigned upon first load then it remains the same)
Which is nice but the generation of trash in quests is really botched
I have an interesting bug on experimental branch. I filtered bullets in trash bags so I could put them in different pallets sorted by types (red and metal). So I packed them accuratly and when I cutted bags - all bullets were incorrect types. And there was no clue how it happened, they just all random
But then I found interesting moment. If I take any "container" (trash bag included) and put in it metal bullet and than take it - it will swap type to red and this will happen to every metal bullet after that. Even that more interesting, if I put bullet that previously swapped from metal to red, and than do it again (swap from red to metal) - I will have a metal bullet. I put it away (so I know it was previously swapped), and will try to swap ANY of other red bullet to metal - it will NOT happen. But it will with any metal again, and if last swapped bullet I take is red - everything will be bugged again
So, basically, I will swap bullet to another type if previosuly taken bullet was the same type I am going to swap
- red - metal
- metal - red
- metal - metal (because previous swapped is red)
- red - metal (because previous type is another and I get swap)
FYI experimental branch is outdated
Also dice seem non existent too now
I got tons of dice when I was playing 1.1.0.131. Try saving and reloading to see if your dominant trash type changes.
I haven't been getting many S keys at all but I have been getting a ton of shell casing (both types) and newspaper clippings and pink scraps. The red straps and cardbord box scraps are practically non-existent in my game.
for me I'm getting S keys almost exclusively
I made a joke about how backwards that is
noone appreciated it 😦
sus
lol,
my key collection
id love if there was more variety, like, the possablity to buy a blank keyboard, and with the keys we collect can assemble it
I have THREE FULL L boxes of S keys plus this
I'm not getting any D's or any W's and that in itself is hilarious
and once you have a complete keyboard a mission to sell it for something rare, like gold bars or something
so means that keys would come in dozens of kinds, all the keys of a normal everyday keyboard
ye could be neat
