#Lower the price

GG @dark viper, you just advanced to level 1!
Maybe they should’ve kept the free demo available for new people.
the sale price isnt any better tbh
Partially agree, Even tho this game is awesome and is def worth 15$ (+600hrs of gameplay) . It being so expensive reduces the PlayerBase by a lot since not everyone is willing to spend that much money on an Indie Game. The numbers of the Demo and Early Access have an Abysmal difference and I kinda blame the price for it.
I think that people often use their own personal hours of gameplay as an estimate of the value of the game. But if you look at all 600+ hours of your gameplay, i guarantee you it’s a total of maybe 3 hours of experiencing specifically new content.
when a studio says that this game has X hours of gameplay, they aren’t including any sort of meta/emergent gameplay.
I think if Gladio had a dedicated storyline/true to form campaign mode, the perceived value would skyrocket. But right now it’s an arcade mode, moveset editor, and multiplayer.
realistically, i think gladio early access should’ve costed 10 or less. That’s only because the amount of time that a player can spend on it varies wildly between 2 to 600 hours.
Pure facts
possibly the most controversial suggestion, but i stand with it
Gladio should be either $10 or under by default, or the free demo should be brought back. Both is even better.
making the demo come back and make it limited way of playing with the people on early access
Ya gots to have penetration pricing to get that market share.
give them multiplayer, but only a couple basic movesets
i think the price is fine as it is, rather once the game is more complete i think it would be nice to archive an older, more limited version for the demo
Yeah, I think now with Dismemberment it is worth what its priced at
and Yes, a Demo would be great, specially if its done in a way that shows people "Hey, you could do all this if you bought the game". Maybe a Demo without the Move Editor, only Multiplayer and a few basicMovesets compatible with the Full version of multiplayer, that way Demo players would see Full-Game players and think "I'll buy the game to make a cool moveset"
multiplayer for a demo im less sure about
Balatro ain't all that and Hellow Knight is ancient now
with dismemberment and blunt damage added now with full mod support and full multiplayer support, it's very fairly priced, if it costs too much just download the demo
Or get the game in one of our sales, where the game comes down to about $10!
Well its 600+ hours for less than 20 so why not let it be
a bit more than that
If your broke just say that, its not easy to make a game and if you think it isnt worth it just dont buy it?
as someone who has 120 something hours in the game, i highly disagree with this post
Same I don't even have the full game and I think it's a steal bro
Ngl im on console and only hsve the demo and that price would still be worth it to me lol.
I very much agree with this
15€ is a bit much when what you get in return is basically a tech demo at the current state of the game
lets go with the hollow knight argument for a moment, hollowknight is 14€, you get a fully finished, beautiful souls/metroid-like where you can put in thousands of hours and somehow still find new things
and for 15€ you can buy the funny manikin fighting game that is still in early acces and may get better soon but maybe not
A tech demo? The game has 3 multiplayer game modes, a mortal combat style campaign, 30+ movesets, a moveset editor that lets you create your own animations, and a wide variety of weapons to choose from.
And that’s not even counting mod support. There are already 63+ mods and 53 community-made movesets, which gives the game an absurd amount of replayability and content. You can easily spend hundreds or even thousands of hours playing..
Sure, the base game could use more content and some QoL improvements, and the physics are not perfect, but its definitely not a "Tech Demo".
yes it does have all that, and its great and I like it
but the game still feels like a hull, and very unfinished design-whise, I know its an early acces title but at the moment the game is just in its most basic form
I didn't say that its bad that the game feels like a tech demo, it would be a very promising tech demo. but I think the price for the game is just a bit too high.
I bought it for 15€, beat the campaign on hardest difficulty in 3,5 hours, checked out some mods and custom movesets
and thats basically it. maybe its just me, but for now the game doesn't give me a motivation to play it again, the fighting is fun but feels very slow and sluggish, the gore is very barebones and the physics are sometimes very weird and sometimes buggy enough to cause me dying, not because I was bad at the game, but because my arm got stuck causing me not being able to attack and having to let the enemy kill me
I like the game and its concepts
but the price is just too high for what you get
especially if you keep in mind what else you could buy with that money, especially when sales role around
also what some people dont really get is
modsupport doesn't excuse an unfinished game and NOT the games prices. that would make gmod the most expensive game in the world
