#More Hit Feedback

When an organ is hit, the organ should briefly strobe flash for a small amount of frames (like in the image) and play a sound so you get better feedback on where you hit. This would be a client-side effect so it would consistently flash the same duration (less than half a second).

I know this is likely a controversial suggestion because it would make the game more "arcadey," so if the game is meant to be more focused on realism then I'll understand; however, I do believe this would make hits feel more responsive and impactful if you slashed and saw a bunch of organs flash and had an audible cue.

This would fall under game feel / responsiveness.

I believe they're solid mesh objects so the hit box is almost exactly the same as the player models with some slight tweaks to account for lincature movement, but ik they have muscle damage types and bleed damage types, so an organ damage indicator would definitly be a cool idea

#

Maybe have the hit box for the organ itself glow when it's struck?

Or strobe or pulse or whatever? But I do think you should make this an optional feature, so that people can choose their preference for the aclrcade style or the realism style

it also would make it more knowable when you get hit or the enemy gets hit

at the very least I think it would be nice to have some indication of when your player gets hit because sometimes the enemy's weapon entering your body is obscured by your player model
