Omg right?! Yeah definitely that would be so helpful by combining both generative processes ‘image & text’ to arrive with ur ideal result in a more direct & efficient way 100% . Yep I’m all in for this!

actually there is already an text prompt involved in the generation. you can see it when you click the mall "i" symbol on the left sinde of the generated model. For example for my latest model the prompt was as follows: "wooden barrel-shaped robot with metal bands, two arms and two legs, brown and tan wood texture, steampunk-inspired machine". but you can not edit what is written in there at all

That is true ... BUT ... I fear it might be used in preprocessing your image, not for the final 3D AI model.
If it was differently, I suspect they would have exposed that ability by now. 🙂

On that sounds great but were u initially allowed to upload & image file prompt & simultaneously incorporate a text prompt & then use both references to generate ur model?

I would have guessed that, too. But it would be awesome if you could edit that for re generations to tackle some things more precisely instead just doing an other roll of dice

Yes the auto text is Ai generated by Tripo & is created specifically to label image to model generation & nothing to do with user typed prompts to help alter or refine image to model generation…

Ha yeah I know where u were at with that & that change was implemented near the end of 2025 , yep it’s a bit confusing
So I’m really thinking to heavily promote the addition of image + text to promote model generation, so sweet!
