Gave it a shot, feels nice, but there is an issue with creating videos with images on the app, it shows as generation failed, but on the web can see the video generated.

I asked to create videos from two photographs: one landscape photo taken by me and another of a person generated within Flow itself. Both return an error saying the content couldn’t be generated and suggest trying a different prompt.

When I try to edit or animate a new image, the error appears again, but on the first attempt the video actually gets generated — and it’s perfectly aligned with my prompt.

So basically, it shows an error (the same thing used to happen in Whisk), but when I generate new content, the one that was marked as “failed” suddenly comes to life and gets produced.

1. Animate, Reuse Prompt, Edit, Download, Copy, ♥️ buttons in addition to Share & Trash buttons should be appearing on the project page so users don't need to click on & open each image page to get & use these functions. This save time & bandwidth.
2. Share to Drive function is needed as well. EDIT - I just noticed it's already there 🙂
3. Search 🔍 function needed, place it on the front page instead inside the project.
4. Need the function to move & copy images inside a project to another project(s) or to new folder(s).
5. Please fix 'prominent people' error when animating images generated inside Flow.
6. Please fix the loading media error which happens often on web (I haven't encountered it on app so far but it's only few minutes)
7. No upscaling on download from app yet? Also please get rid of the 'Upscaling your image/Upscaling complete..Dismiss' pop up on web. It's annoying and blocking out some functions.
8. Now there's GPT Image 2 which for many use cases is better than NB 2 & NB Pro, Google needs to relax the guardrails to keep uers using Flow more than GPT.
9. Function to pick own screenshots from device when reporting/giving feedback on app.
10. Please fix login wrong account. Flow app keep login me to secondary account instead of the main one which already logged to Google, Chrome, Gmail Gemini & Flow on web.

I don't understand why Whisk was removed. Flow is terrible. It’s Flow that should have been shut down, not Whisk. Flow generates awful images when it comes to faces. The Imagen 4 model looks artificial; the faces bear no resemblance to the original—they look plastic, and it’s obvious they aren't real. When I tried to make adjustments, the face was completely altered. Everything was perfect in Whisk. If you can't bring Whisk back, at least add the Imagen 3 model to Flow, because right now, Flow is completely useless to me. And then there’s the fact that Whisk had 150 credits, while Flow has only 50. It was stated that Whisk was migrating to Flow—but that was a lie. Whisk was completely shut down, and there isn't a trace of it left in Flow. You treated those who loved Whisk very poorly.

FLOW android app seems to operate fine on Galaxy A30s, OS:11 - One UI: 3.1 | but without any native downloading function. The "save/download" protocol seems to use external sharing functions; probably as a workaround to relatively recent Samsung policy updates in newer devices, relating to file system access.

i mean, technically i can use this share feature to send the local cache to a 3rd party file management app, and save generations this way. [or just export straight to cloud drives] but its more professional if a separate app version exists with save functions compatible with the older device ranges.

i may test some other devices this coming week.

2. Zoom in/out images/videos by gesture, this would be very helpful especially for future edit functions
3. Landscape mode for tablets which can be split. Gemini is on full screen landscape on tablet but can't be split.
4. Flow app shows many of my Whisk generated images & videos pre Project some from early Whisk Animate beta era as individual images & videos listed outside Projects, those I thought lost forever because they never appeared on Flow web after the transfer completed. This is great. But please tell Flow web team to fix this.

This image i took the photo from my desktop of this fresh PFP made by @remote eagle & edited about 10 times, and noticed the quality dropping more and more. It just came out more grainier than expected. (10 gens)

Image 2:
Used the take photo feat, for 1 edit, turned my fan blades into guitars🎸. (1 gen)

Image 3:
Took a photo of my tie hanging and turned it into a dragon👔 🐉 (1 gen)

Is an edited image of a can of celsuis, from the edit photo feat. Used about 5 edited image gens on this. (5+ Gens)

Other notes:
- I like how when I make something on mobile its instantly on my desktop. 

- Mobile version should have their own daily quotas for video generation seperate from the desktop, to help with testing the video generations for the basic tier, while keeping the connection tier. 

- I would enjoy seeing the sizing from mobile being auto transferred to desktop noticed I used a 9:16 in mobile, and when i moved to desktop it showed a 4:3 image size format instead. 

- I believe I ran up the usage on mobile for today. Can we extend the usage cap for active testers at least? 

- Noticed when I hit the usage limit on mobile, the "Failed
You're requesting generations too quickly. Please wait a moment and try again." message popped up. 

- The download options for 1 & 2 K seem to be non-existent for mobile. 

- The too many uses/attempts on mobile transfers over to desktop, should be exempted for active testing in my opinion. 

Other + notes:
- the send Feedback to google feedback area, should really allow you to screenshot & upload photos as well that way I can show my feedback here & over there when something else comes up. 

I fwd'd my feedback here into the "send feedback to google" area(Mobile) too.

Also, found out that discords context window for characters is about 2300.

Would it be possible to reintegrate some of the core Whisk features into Flow? Especially:

Multi-image reference mixing (subject + environment + style)
Minimal prompting workflows
A more lightweight and intuitive creative UI
More emphasis on experimentation and visual mood rather than strict prompt interpretation

I genuinely believe Whisk had something unique that many creators still miss today. Flow has potential, but right now it feels like some of the creative soul that made Whisk special got lost in the transition.

Long-time web user here — the mobile app runs smoothly and is genuinely a pleasure to use. Huge credit to the team for creating such a polished experience.
I do have a few suggestions that could make Flow even better:
Image loading could be optimized further, as it can feel a bit slow at times.
It would be amazing to have a full aspect ratio dropdown like the one in Google AI Studio, including all standard ratios and an “Auto” option.
The “Auto” ratio should intelligently detect and match the dimensions of an uploaded reference image automatically, exactly like AI Studio does.
More advanced image controls from the web version — especially upscale options and additional generation settings — would greatly improve the mobile workflow.
A resolution selector would also be fantastic, ideally with options ranging from 1K up to 8K if possible.
Overall, Flow already feels incredibly smooth and powerful on mobile, and these additions would make it even more complete for creators. Great work to the entire team so far!

hello, Im new here. 30min used. but I saw some things I read some new problems. I had one idea-

Feedback / Feature Suggestion — 2K Upscaling Quality Issue

Since around March 10, 2026, the 2K upscaling in Google Flow has been producing noticeably lower quality results — pixelation, noise artifacts, and JPEG-like compression visible even in PNG exports. The issue seems to originate from a change made to the AI upscaler (not the image generation model itself).

Suggested approach — Tiled / Patch-based Upscaling:

Instead of upscaling the entire 1K image at once, the process could be split into tiles (similar to how old CRT TVs used interlaced scanning — rendering one half first, then the other, then syncing them together):

Take the 1K image and divide it into smaller tiles

Upscale each tile individually to higher resolution

Sync and merge the tiles into the final 2K output

To avoid visible seams at tile borders, use overlapping tiles (20–30% overlap between adjacent tiles) and blend the overlapping areas together. This technique is already used successfully in tools like Real-ESRGAN and Topaz Gigapixel AI.

Benefits of this approach:

Less memory used at once per processing step

Tiles can be processed in parallel across GPU cores

Each tile gets more model "attention" = better local detail

More consistent output quality overall

We can't use imagen 4 to modify imagen 4-based images anymore, it's unfortunately awful. Nanobanana is our only choice to modify images, and since its such a different model, it ends u completely changing the subjects face.

Image 2 image for anything made with imagen 4 is effectively dead now. Nanobanana does not keep the original characters properly

✨ Seriously, this needs to be fixed before Veo 4. It's incredibly frustrating that we can't delete a video or image while watching it. In the upper right corner, we can - Favorite - Download - Share - Hide History. We urgently need a Delete key added there.

We routinely have over 100 videos/images in a single project with extremely subtle detail changes (and I'm sure other creators have even more). Once we leave the viewing screen, there is absolutely no way to figure out which specific version we were just looking at so we can delete the correct one in the overview. Please fix this.

When running image gen on the iOS app version, the fact that image prompts do not carry over with the text prompt when clicking reuse prompt on an image that has completed generation (so excluding jobs which are still running), really REALLY slows down the workflow — search through the image library for every single gen makes the app unusable for my use case — ideating interior design for clients.
