it's in this awkward place where i want to use it, but it literally won't let me do what i'm trying to do.

One random suggestion, but from marketing perspective it makes a critical sense 🥴

The Photoshoot feature, in 99% of the cases, generates Asian models (the faces look either Chinese or Indian)

But products can be heavily culturally influenced in most cases. For example I have a client that sells 650+ products targeted on a specific nation (not only the products are in most cases clear enough to give an AI enough signal about their origin, but on top of that the uploaded images are renamed to clearly show the product name and details. But still the generated models are Chinese and Indian and that takes away the real effect that it could have on the viewer.

It would be nice if Pomelli would customize the generated photos based on the product or file name, or even optimally let us add a short prompt when selecting the photo so that we can customize the photoshoot a little.

Let me give you a simple example: let’s say you are selling a Persian jewelry and that is literally a Persian poem written on a historical building with a deeply cultural details. In 99.9% of the times, the way the marketing team sells this product, is to touch viewer’s national proud or values. Now imagine you promote that product with a western background (Easter let’s say) on an Eastern model (a Chinese female).

I have been using the pomelli photoshoot feature to give me several options to choose from then importing to flow so I can use Nano Banana to make (flyer, social media post, etc.). For example we are bundling some products and after taking the products from Pomelli I add them in flow and give it a prompt and it has so far created some nice content. It's nothing groundbreaking but it saves me a lot of time and they don't look like the rest of the AI generated content I see floating on the web.

Notes From Testing Campaign & Photoshoot Features Today:

The campaign feature seems to be referring my other/older work as a auto preset. I get it but it can be a bit confusing & time consuming to change.

Other notable areas from my session:

• The eye dropper tool only works properly on chrome, an error pops up for Safari.

• A centering or left to right for the font/text position would be nice to see it reads like I'm reading a word doc...

• When you enter a new text to change the font in campaign mode it auto updates, I like it but I feel it uses alot cpu with this approach. If you got the usage go ahead.

• Can we add more sizes for the campaign area, noticed these only the default 9:16, 4:5, & 1:1.

• Just to note, add multiple business DNA profiles would help as well. Think of campaigns adjusting to seasonal colors so including more colors from the businesses DNA could be easily adjusted from seasonal color focuses on campaigns. Multiple DNA business areas in the overview area may be better suited, instead of resetting it everytime for a new DNA focus.

The animation is simple and to the point enjoyed it.

Hi! I’ve got another suggestion for the Pomelli Photoshoot feature.

It would be awesome if we could input product dimensions directly into the Catalog. Something I've always struggled with with any AI is that small products look huge in lifestyle shots. Adding a way to make add the dimensions could help the model understand the physical size of the product so it scales realistically against backgrounds and props!

Could Pomelli maybe scrape the dimensions from the website product descriptions?

Hi guys, I’m a video editor and I’m currently testing the catalog feature. I need to screen record everything for a video.
The feature itself is still working, but the icons/UI elements seem to have disappeared. I can still click on the empty areas on the screen to add product links or enter them manually, but the icons are not showing up. Because of that, it looks pretty strange on video.
