About 10k credits , I did it over the course of a few weeks mainly because I had to rework the back 1/2 of the story because I changed direction and had to rework the script abd then the update on 7-26 threw a wrench in how fast I could work? Generally can make about a minute of finished footage a night which is about 2-3 hours of work then I did sound and edit and some regenerations

If you're using a specific logo, you'll want to use Frame to Video, as for text on screen, its sometimes best to add text in later if possible. Veo can do well with very short phrases, but it will likely mess up text much of the time. Pronunciation of the brand name is just in the prompting, obviously cant give tips on that without knowing what it is and how to pronounce it.

No text prompt comes out the same twice. If you get more than one good gen per order, that’s lucky, but they’re still off.
Right now, I2V’s the only real path to better (not perfect) consistency.

ok, here's what I think is happening and maybe it helps, the adjustments I made to compensate for the update are overloading the model when there are more than two characters in the scene, too many tokens, even for quality, so having to simplify and find the right balance and change shot types and camera movement to compensate

better be still not close so going ot have to keep spending $$$$$$

I know it might not sound satisfying, but sometimes Flow gives you similar characters if you run prompts in the same gen session.
You might get lucky. But once you start a new order, even an hour later, results change. If I were you, I’d stick to I2V for more consistency instead of counting on luck. Imo.
You’ve done great work, though.

Asample back in the old veo2 beta, I could keep the theme across shots, but only if all the gens stayed in the same session.

i agree here. I observed that as well. Even with giving full details of the subject, sometimes when you continue the project after an hour or a long time, the result changes. I know it sucks and wastes the credits. After running the same prompt twice or thrice then you get the result you expect.

Obviously I'm biased, but I use it at least as a base for all of my prompting. You will always need to tweak things based on your results but I find that its pretty solid at organizing and fleshing out a good concept!

Ive done quite a bit of freelance video gen work already and primarily use Fast mode. If you really have a solid prompt then swap to quality. I havent noticed a discernible difference in my testing. Audio might be slightly better more often, but youre still gambling on other aspects of the video being correct.

Veo sometimes get's really stubborn about that one. Having defined character roles and names can help, and making sure the subject that's speaking first is mentioned in the prompt first. Other than that, sometimes you just need to run it multiple times, or run mutliple scenes and interlace them.

Yes this is what I do. Typically for anyone looking to do product placement stuff i have found Sora by far the best at creating product image frames. But haven't tried Leonardo much. Midjourney is not great at placing product either

I’ve loved Veo3, even more with Audio, and tend to use RunwayML for frame generation and a couple of their tools, Veo3 for video, and ’plain old’ Davinci Resolve for editing - but, having been an enthusiastic advocate of the system, I’m now backing off and just waiting for other providers to come along.

DOUBLE CREDITS FOR ULTRA!!! (Yeah, no, nice try.) Here's the thing. Ultra subscribers have been paying $125/month for the last three months on a special deal. My three months are up in a few days and presumably the price will jump to $250/month. So when Google Labs says there're going to give me "DOUBLE" the credits - jumping from 12,500 to 25,000, all they're doing is keeping the same price per credit. I already have trouble using up all 12,500 credits in one month, so doubling that doesn't do me much good. Instead I wish they would 1) Bring back "Jump to" for Veo3 fast. 2) Introduce some new features like additional aspect ratios. 3) Let me carry over my unused credits. it’s more about how Flow detects the photos people upload. Flow team probably needs to tweak their detection a bit, but users having this issue should also report it or send feedback..

Its something that you all already know about. You cant use the extended, or go to the next scene in the scene builder- if using the Veo fast 3 for 20 credits on the first video then try to do a continuation it says you need spend 100 credits to do this- So i do and its garbage. new scene, new characters- the scenes dont match... After doing some research its a known issue that the devs put out a product that doesnt work but will glady steal your credits regardless of the outcome or bugs-

@main saddle This was my promt and image i gave it for the chart. Center the provided mortgage savings chart image in frame, perfectly aligned and clear. At the top of the frame, overlay bold golden headline text reading: ‘How much is Frankie robbing you each month?’ spelled exactly like that. Keep the background dark and smoky with a mafia-style tone. Along the bottom of the frame, beneath the chart, show a large pile of U.S. cash bills on fire, flames glowing and smoke rising upward behind the chart. Yeah; I have noticed (or hallucinated?) a lot of fixes like that; like instead of:

No, I'm not ok with, it's horrifying. There is a gambling/addiction aspect to it though, when something randomly succeeds; I'm sure this is a factor.

The bug with characters speaking the wrong line is random, though. Happens to me all the time and it's not a matter of bad prompting, because eventually it does get it right. Just a matter of having the time and money to keep running the slot machine.

Any sort of pause is sufficient (but not necessary) for it to randomly switch speakers.

Yeah. Sometimes you just have to run a bunch of versions, including "jump to/cut to" versions with closeup shots of the character, so you can cobble together an edit.

Load up your input image and at the beginning of the prompt say "Immediately jump/cut on frame 1" followed by a direction for the camera to do a close-up shot of one of the characters.

You might have to say "extreme closeup shot" if the characters are standing close to each other

Haha yeah. Well, after clicking some buttons, I think deleting them from Flow deletes them from the library also. Deleting is just to declutter after every failed dialogue attribution etc., but I hate to throw out what I've paid for — e.g. maybe I want to review the prompt later and analyze what might have contributed to the failure, even though it's random like @kind bison said — but for now it's just in the way of me finding the few shots I would actually want to edit together.

The fact that the library has a Favorites feature is a step forward though

Like I literally have 30 in a row that are the same wrong speech attribution over and over while i modified the prompt uselessly, heh.

You use both. You keep the same scene description, except that in your camera directions you request a cut to a closeup shot of the characters when they speak.

Yeah having the projects helps with that a little, but you have to be proactive as you can't move renders between projects after the fact, that I can see.

It happens. Instead of telling it not to sing (which probably won't work) try telling it to speak in a specific accent or with an exasperated voice. You need to give it something else to think about.
