Just click the + and ignore the 'Jump to' and 'Extend' options. Make sure it stays on 'Text to video' and 'VEO 3 - Fast'. Type in your prompt and gen. It should show 0:16 length. The UI is shocking so it doesn't even show the thumbnail on the timeline but the new 8 second part will be there.

You cannot make Veo3 videos with Frames or Ingredients, only text to video. That's for Ultra or any user. It's a limitation they have currently. It will automatically switch you to Veo2 if you try, and you won't have audio

I have the same story: out of 5 videos, maybe 1 generates with sound and voice, and it's likely the voice will be a hallucination. This is because sound in the VEO-3 img2video model is still in beta. If you do txt2video, sound and voice will be in every generation.

I could be wrong, but I believe that's intentional for the time being (extending not working with veo 3). I'm actually about to try to have character consistency as well by using the last frame as a reference screenshot for a clip. Not sure if Veo 3 lets us do that yet

Has anyone noticed that if you use the "Reuse prompt" button, the next video Veo creates with that feels almost "seeded" with elements from the prior video? Whereas if you manually paste the same prompt, it appears to make it from a blank slate. I could be wrong but not sure.

Also, do any of you know if deleting a video from a project helps subsequent generations be more aligned with your vision? Edit: Otherwise I'm not sure why Google would even include this feature - considering how expensive the videos are to produce, might as well keep every iteration.

I keep getting "Download failed" regardless of whether it's 720p or 1080p.

This only started happening after I bought more credits. I had one (before buying more credits) that simply muted the sound AFTER downloading, so I screen recorded instead (had to do this with another that was “content policy” but only when I tried to download.

I feel like screen recording might be losing quality though? I upscale to 4K in CapCut anyway, but what about the audio? That could be taking a hit and I just haven’t noticed it maybe?

I’ve already spent over $450 now, but didn’t start getting “download failed” until I bought 20,000 extra credits ($200).

Have I been blocked from downloading for reaching the original Ultra limit?

I am using the Opera browser because it’s the only one that will let me use Flow on iPhone. But I was able to download just fine (mostly) until I bought extra credits.

From personal experience, if the audio is recognized as something potentially harmful or prohibited, it'll mute the video. Try adjusting the dialog.

Not sure if it's new or not, but yeah, I think there's a filter of some sort. Even when the actual dialog isn't anything special, filter might interpret it as such. Took me about 10 videos to figure it out. Hope it works out for you, good luck!

Definitely not. Every prompt is a standalone prompt.

But here's something that can help. Create a new project within chatgpt. Describe what you want to do, and include a character description. Once you set it up, if you ask for a new prompt, all you need to do is describe the scene, and ChatGPT will give you a complete prompt, including the character description. The more details you include in the project instructions, the more accurate it'll be.

That's a good voice. I think the problem is that Veo has its own idea of what my character "Hank the Dummy" should sound like. I need to change its mind somehow. I've tried to describe his voice 10 different ways - even African-American, but it always comes out like this.

I just tried again describing Hank as 60 years old and Yiddish. Same generic young white voice came out.

Flo put out audio for the first day and then when I purchased ultra the audio literally just disappeared from every single video and it doesn't matter how I type the prompt and I've tried chat GPT papay I copilot to build a prompt I literally just made one prompt of one video that said make a person saying this and it still had no audio. You are either:

1- upscaling it to 1080p; it comes without audio

2- using features that downgrade to Veo 2, and not noticing, which also comes without audio

100% of my videos that I create using Veo 3 come with audio

The only time I upscale is if I try to download something but first I always try to play it within the environment of flow itself so no I am not doing that.

I don't know what features would downgrade to Veo 2 but I have it very specifically set to Veo 3. It's a very easy prompt like I went as basic as freaking possible and it still would not produce audio
