Just did a little experiment. For scenes, characters, and actions, I have found using XML tags helps with long prompts!

Here is what I did for one of the scenes in my next Short Film episode of "The F Students"

The prompt took the following format:

Veo 3 and Flow is a great experiment but it's just not ready. No good documenation or tutorials. Can't get closed captions to NOT generate, (and they're not accurate) and sometimes the sound works...sometimes no sounds. I burned my AI Credits on a new Ultra subscription in 3 days. Yes. When you chose the HIGH QUALITY with Experimental Audio, VEO3 cannot handle and reference images, so if you try to incorprate reference inages, it will default back to VEO2. Hope this helps.

Honestly you can use alot of the tutorials that teach image generation because it all has to do with how detailed your prompts are. create a solid structure for the scenes you want and put that structure into gemini or chatgpt and then tell it to continue to give all of your ideas the same amout of deliberation and detail. my prompts have been like 3 paragraphs

Take a movie script. Load a portion in to either Gemini and/or Chat GPT. Say specifically how you'd like to modify it enough for Flow. It will make the needed changes. It won't be perfect, but it should yield fairly decent results. I loaded a script I wrote and it came decently close.

I think the AI credits are too expensive, but I kinda get it, since it is just on its initial phase, eventually I imagine that it will be (slightly?) cheaper once the technology becomes more stable or mature. but I find it odd that right now they are only selling the AI credits to Ultra Subscribers. I've noticed the model's variety is a bit low. This can be really good for consistency and continuity when stitching multiple videos together though. You can try more detailed prompts, but not all models respond well to more detail. Some do better with less. Judging by the input field in Flow's tool, I'm going to assume they never intended for anyone to be using paragraphs of text for prompts.

You can keep adjusting your prompt to see if you can narrow it down to what you want, but of course this is costly. It's just part of the game, we do it every single time we sit down to generate images or videos. It takes a LOT. Especially when you can't tinker with guidance, seed, etc.

When I use pictures that have a detectable face, it rejects. Perhaps to avoid deep-fakes and the like. It only works if it's a very zoomed out face and the facial features aren't recognizable. There are some exceptions where it works, but it usually doesn't.

It is kinda odd, usually the first 1or 2 sequences (8 seconds) will have good quality/resolution, then if you keep adding/extending sequences, the quality will keep degrading, the more you add them.

Hi team, I’ve already subscribed to the Google AI Ultra plan, but I still cannot use Flow to generate Veo 3 videos.
I see “You need AI credits to complete this request” or it keeps failing.
My account has 125 credits/month as expected.
Can you help activate Veo 3 access or let me know what’s wrong?

Please help! Doesnt matter how much a describe my characters hat, it will not generate the right hat for my animal character. ChatGTP did a good job of creating the right hat. Can I use the image by ChatGTP to make a video on Flow? Hnd how do I do that?

take a screenshot of the hat, then use ingredient to video generation. but I think "ingredient to video" generation can't use Veo3 yet, so you can only make videos without audio using that method. (anybody can correct me if I am wrong about the Veo3 comment)

on the top right corner of the prompt, there's a filter icon, click that, you will see the credit needed per generation. 10 for fast gen, 100 for Quality and Veo3 gen. Be mindful of always checking that, or else, you will be wasting your credits if you keep using Quality or up.

my suggestion, devs should probably show a small text preview on top of the prompt, so you can easily see the quantity and quality

If it's not available, why not just hide that option. From the user's perspective that would be much better than having a feature be visible than erroring out.

Veo 2 quality doesn't work either.

Yeah learning that from another channel ATM. This was with frames to video. They should put a bit more on the UX. Probably alot of bloat in the discord with things not working because of things such as this.
