I've been using the beta and also AIStudio which has a different interface. AIStudio seems to reject more inputs than the Beta. AIStudio throttles me after just a couple of videos. So far the Beta has >seemed< unlimited for me but I'm not pounding it. I usually wait for one generation to finish before starting another.

But what do you all think of this new "unlimited" length "Framepack" video generator that installs locally? The outputs I've seen look great. But I can't install it cause you need Pinokio which apparently doesn't run on the new "Windows Canary" ver of Win 11.

I have access through the VideoFX beta and also through AIStudio. But AIStudio is next to worthless. They reject many prompts that VideoFX has no issue with. And their daily quota is like 2 animations.

I think something big is cooking at Google right now; I don't know if it's called Veo 2.5 or Veo 3, but we will surely witness it. Based on my experience with Veo 2 so far, it seems like they are exploring visual consistency, prompt adherence, and everything, but this is not a final product. Based on the results, the current Veo 2 is more useful for stock footage or visual/artistic exploration. I'm so pumped to see what they reveal at Google I/O this year. Regarding resolution, while I'd be happy to promote successful prompts to higher res, I'd, personally, find it hard to live with an expensive hi res mode that failed as much as Veo does.

In the short term, in VideoFX, it would be nice to have the same aspect ration options that exist in AI Studio. Right now any generations in VideoFX that go into project in portrait are just wasting compute on stuff being thrown away--not serving Google, nor the creator.

They give you around £300 worth of credit with a Google account, so you can generate a bunch of videos as a backup plan. I'm in a similar boat with a big project, but luckily, I'm close to wrapping up and plan to finish using Vertex AI.

Nvidia digits has very low ram speed, not really usable for image/video. If veo runs on nvidia hardware, it will be the usual 8xh100, around 250.000$. Even some open source models need that much amount of vram (like Magi-1) so pretty sure Veo needs the same or more.

I think the problem is with the image itself—I didn’t provide any prompt. I simply uploaded a blank image and asked it to generate something.

On AI Studio I keep running into “prompt safety” warnings, whereas Freepik’s Veo 2 works fine. Earlier I discovered that the word “baby bottle” is considered highly sensitive, so prompts containing it are rejected. Sometimes even a scene with a kitten piloting a plane on an aircraft carrier gets flagged for safety. Other AI video generators tend to distort characters—especially when they’re small in the frame—but Veo 2 keeps them intact, though it still hits safety issues fairly often.

As an AI artist, I definitely need text-to-video in 9:16 more than 16:9.

Second Proposal: Video extension ( 8 seconds + 8 seconds ). That's a big dream. It would be super-duper cool.

Third Proposal: Another important feature I'd love to see is Seed from ImageFX. For example, I create an image in ImageFX, then copy the image's seed, paste it into VideoFX, and it generates a video based on that image. Or, it could work if you upload any video you like to VideoFX or provide a link to it, and VideoFX creates a similar video.
