I don't think so, it looks like native outputs and they certainly advertise it as that. I've a bit of experience with upscaling, I can definitely see the diff between the 720p sora gens and the 1080p, and It's much more than just classic upscaling

And for example, you can upscale a veo2 gen to 1080p with the best tools we got right now like topaz video ai, and it will not look like a sora 1080p native gen, the details will remain more blurry and with less textures etc

But like I said It's the only thing they do better. When VEO2 gets the same image quality honestly I will not see a point in keeping my pro sub with them with how pricey it is and can't do basic movement well, VEO2 is just a whole another level
