i did something very neat!

i upscaled the audio of "me at the zoo" i made to versons, one long verson with a dif model and i used a bit of another model and the shorter video is a dif model, the long video has 3 versons in it, upscaled audio with quiet background noises, second video in it is the OG video and the third is upscald audio without background sounds

I really enjoy the Audio Overview feature in Notebooks so far! Although sometimes there's audio artifacts, weird audio cues, and repetition and weird reactions between the two speakers; I feel like it's a really good start!

I think (if possible) there should be some option to 'drive' the audio overview feature (e.g. as a tutor, mathematician, etc...) for a better experience on what it should focus on, how they should speak, etc...

I would imagine that it won't be too long until Veo releases considering OAI just dropped Sora and a majority of people aren't happy with it.

Myself included, especially because of how greedy OAI is becoming. (For context, in order to use image2vid that includes a person, you're required to subscribe to the $200/motnh plan. Among other features that they locked behind a paywall after insinuating that it would be avaiable to the lower tier plan as well)

Before Imagen 3 was released to all, Google had a "Trusted Tester" program, which said that if you're accepted, you get early testing access to all future AI tools they announce. Well now, they're not honoring that, and creating new waitlists for each tools they're releasing.
Okay so I went back into my email, and I see that I had gotten confused - the Trusted Tester program I got accepted to was indeed only for ImageFX, and not all future Labs tools. Sorry for any confusion I may have caused!

For AI videos, Turbo doesnt work like that. Same way Runway Turbo is a faster cheaper BUT also lower quality version, SORA turbo is too.

It works the same way as O1 -- O1 mini

It's also like image gen models, SDXL turbo was faster with much less inference steps required but that resulted in lower precision and quality.

Alright, here’s how I use different AI models for different purposes:

ChatGPT: I personally think it’s the best for day-to-day chats and works well for most use cases.

Gemini: Great for research purposes. I find it explains things really well and is an excellent replacement for Google in my life. Plus, I use it for image generation—Gemini’s images just hit differently and look super cool.

Claude: Hands down the best for writing. Trust me, it’s amazing. It’s also great for coding, fun interactions, and just messing around. Honestly, Claude feels like the all-rounder AI.
