Using a third party app like thunderstore for modding makes the game too laggy and it lowers the fps. I think using steam Workshop for modding like project zomboid or Gmod would be so much better especially for low tech PCs. I don't know how mod makers will be affected by this, but as a player, it might be nice to see something like this happen.

That's something the game creator has to add not Modders. And it won't fix in-game lag
