unfortunatelly, the skin registry doesnt sync skins with other lobby members, so thats a bummer

Hey everyone! I'm happy to announce that I've pushed the full release of ColorfulEnemyVariety to the Thunderstore!
This version is SEPERATE from the previous version that's been on Thunderstore called ColorfulEnemyVarietyWIP, uninstall that one and look for ColorfulEnemyVariety or you WILL get conflict errors. (I will be Deprecating the WIP one)
- Added skins for the
Barber and
Tulip Snake - Seperated bonus skins from ColorfulEnemyVariety (READ BELOW)
- Added 1 more skin for each enemy to substitute the removal of bonus skins (5 Skins each total)
- Changed a lot of skin names to fit more to their actual colors and enemies
- Remade all of the Bracken's skins
- Bunker Spider skins now have different colored "SPIDER" text in arachnophobia mode
- Fixed Coilheads having their materials applied incorrectly after a EnemySkinKit update
- Old Bird skins will now show on inactive Old Birds
- Improvements to the README to make it more concise and compact
- Probably some other changes I'm not remembering off the top of my head
Some of the new skins may be subject to change. Skins for the Kidnapper Fox will come at a later date whenever I can figure out their material.
Yes, I know the asset bundle size is kinda big. I will make attempts at reducing the asset bundle size without a major loss in quality whenever I can.
You may notice from the above notes that bonus skins are no longer in Colorful. That is because I'm going forward with the plan of splitting them into their own mod, ExtraEnemyVariety, which has also been pushed to the Thunderstore.
In addition to having almost* every bonus skin from Colorful, it also comes with 4 new ones.

I mean it this time when we say we are taking a break from making skins for now 🙏 We've had a lot of these in the backburner so we wanted to clear that up
Heya extract! I've seen your mod and wanted to ask if you plan to add any more varities for entities that currently don't have any (ex.: Dogs, Masked Enemies, etc)
Hygroderes & Kidnapper Foxes have unique shaders/materials that make them difficult to make skins for either of the mods, so we can't do those. Masked are not supported by EnemySkinKit either which is what we use to put these skins into Lethal Company
Regardless however, we do plan on givings ExtraEnemyVariety skins to enemies that don't have one yet like the Dog, Hoarding Bug, Snare Flea, etc.

You can use them together or separately however you wish. No conflicts

@winter coyote I got a question, does it take in general really long for ColorfulEnemyVariety to download with a lot of mods?
I'm using 149 mods at the moment because of a modpack my friend made, and we can't seem to download Colorful, and ONLY Colorful.
Everything else works just fine.
I do know Colorful is kind of a big mod, ~90MB. It's certainly bigger than a lot of smaller mods, but not quite as big as a lot of, say, moon or interior mods.
Me personally, I play a 130+ mod profile with friends including Colorful and we have no issues with downloading the mod at all, it just takes a couple of seconds as any other mod. Of course, this can range from computer to computer
I would say no, generally it shouldn't take long to download Colorful at all? Atleast from my experience and other friend's experience.
We did move from r2modman to Gale if that's anything, not sure what you use. Even though Gale is still new and sorta experimental it's a LOT more responsive and faster than R2ModManager which me and my friends generally struggled using.
Your situation does sound familiar to a time me and friends had Wesley's Moons Pack (another big mod) in our modpack and one of our friends could not get it to download for whatever reason

Any advice?
That’s very odd. Have you tried just deleting it manually through your profile directory?

Hey everyone, earlier today I pushed an update to ColorfulEnemyVariety (v1.1.0/v1.1.1) that mainly focuses upon touching up a bunch of the already existing skins and reducing mod size very slightly.

Scrapped most of Barber's skins (except Taffy Yellow & Shadow Black) and added 5 new ones as replacements (Stompy Red, Bouncy Green, Floaty Blue, Hoppy Orange, Sneaky Purple)

Renamed Barber's "Taffy Yellow" skin to "Skippy Yellow" and "Shadow Black" to "Brisky Black"

Reduced texture resolution on some of the more simple enemy skins (
) in a effort of testing the waters and reducing mod size. The resolution difference should be hardly noticeable
Originally we were gonna do a lot more touch ups on some more skins across the enemy roster, but we decided we'll save that for another time after v60 releases.
I just pushed out a quick patch for Colorful (v1.1.2) and Extra (v1.2.2) that MASSIVELY reduces the file sizes for both mods. I realized i'm kinda a little dumb and could've just been using crunch compression 
Colorful went from ~90MB -> ~40MB and Extra went from ~30MB -> ~18MB (~58MB Total)
There should be barely any loss in quality with any of the skins. I've even reverted the resolution size reduction I did to several skins in the last Colorful update
Oh, also I renamed some of Barber's skins and readded Barber's "Isolated White" skin to colorful

is it bad that I'd love to see a jester skin which has a clock on the side
that displays how much time is left till it pops
I kinda wish some of the white skins for outdoor enemies appeared more on snowy moons
and more orange or yellowey skins appeared on desert moons
green for forested moons

That is what EnemySkinRegistry's config is for. You can configure it however you like, even specifically have skins spawn on specific moon/tags. So for example like you said, orange/yellow skins on canyon tag moons and white skins on snow tag moons
