Allow people to make a "Create a Vanilla" or "Create a Modded " crew.
That way people can collapse the VCs Categories of the game type they don't play.
There are so many VC's its a pain to find one and post a LFC.
If added, make sure the MODDED Categories is **below ** the VANILLA .
This should help with newer people who don't read from joining a modded vc, when they were looking for a vanilla vc.
(Maybe also allow us to also change the name of the VCs when created)

The general issue is that a non-insigificant percentage of users won't care about this distinction, and it'll lead to confusion. We'll consider it / play around with some ideas, though!

What about the idea of the host being able to change the name of the VC? That way we could at least label it:
"Modded"

It's a bit annoying with people popping in, having to mute in game and then unmuting in Discord. Just to tell them it's a modded lobby things in side chat and the person bounces.
I do strongly believe since they have to click the name of the VC , they have to read it's modded. It will lessen the amount of random joins.
Here is an example:
I could tell the people who joined to deafen once in game, but why should I make my and others less enjoyable, just because someone doesn't want to read and or put in the effort.

TempVoice doesn't appear to have a proper filter for inappropriate names, and it was getting this server delisted from Discord's server discovery.
And we received a number of reports of some users going around changing statuses to something inappropriate, so y'know
Trust me, ideally I'd allow y'all to change the names to whatever you want, but at the scale of this server, it's really impractical for moderation and the above Discovery system's requirements.

oh that's understandable. is there any feature that lets you "flag" a vc as modded perhaps? which could potentially add an emoji to the suffix of the channel name or something, basically any way we could have an indicator for modded versus vanilla?

id be inclined to help if you are looking for a custom bot, i feel that something interaction based could be made to resolve the issue - using something like this can help, and further filter messages for the looking for crew, for example if you are in a modded channel but post in vanilla, the bot could detect it and move the message accordingly
i also feel a couple quality of life features i could implement could help towards the administration aspects of this server.
just ideas, however if you plan to do a custom bot, feel free to take this into dms if youd like to hear more
