#Giant Beehives

how do you imagine being able to successfully loot this
bees already glitch through the ship wall and sometimes kill a player so with making them bigger im pretty sure it will make it more common
supermassive beehive 😭
In the same way as one loots the normal one, it would just require dropping it more as your sprint runs out faster due to its weight.
Players can pick up giant metal axles so a big beehive wouldn't be to bad to handle.
just sounds like an incredibly minor tweak that wouldn't really do anything but make beehive collecting less fun
It's not supposed to make it more fun collection wise, it's just the general fun and intimidating concept of JUMBO BEEHIVES, more risk for more reward, and the intimidation part of a bee and the hive being 4x as big would simply make it pretty interesting.
you misunderstand spectacle for fun gameplay
It's just something I'd like to see, as it sounds very easy to make for someone who knows how to make mods in the first place, I figured maybe someone would make it :)
assuming the bees do more damage, and knowing that it weighs more, even the fact that it is higher in value wouldnt really make it more interesting
just raising values all around, though simple, doesn't make for great content
maybe someone will make it though
who knows
Not all mods are meant to make gameplay fun imo, some spectacle is also appreciated, and while it doesn't ADD anything new to the game, it changes something that exists in a way that can make it more diverse and have more risk-reward with exponentially higher prices.
I guess it's pretty comical and could be fun to see a mate carry a hive the size of a large axle with huge bees (not necessarily faster than small bees) chasing him. I wouldn't want this as a part of the vanilla game but as an optional little mod, I'd have a bit of a blast personally ngl.
it might not be that simple as if the game uses a custom pathing system for them then scaling them will make there pathfinding break
as sclaing an objects moves its origin point
in alot of cases
biggest example is scaling the ship makes it shift if you look at the ship from the outside it shifts to the right if you scale it
and the ships item placing breaks when you scale it if you place an object for example on the right of the ship it gets put way off to the left
