Normally, best thing to do is NOT selling all the scrap but just enough to meet quata. I feel like this doesn't accomplish anything in the game other than making you hoard scrap on ship.
I don't know if it's possible but maybe a way to add your oversell value to the next quata? For example, if you have 150 dollar quata, and you sell stuff for 200 dollars, you start the next quata like this > 50/300 or something.

it was a good idea so I did it. Easy to script too. I like to browse through requests frequently to find any good ideas for what to make since I find it hard coming up with some myself

Still need to fix some client side visual bugs that make anyone besides the host not visually see the quota change correctly, it does work fine otherwise for everyone even if only the host has it installed

Hey hey, is there a possibility you could add a config option to this that makes it so the next quota only advances on day 0? Me and a friend are looking for a way to make the game a little bit better balanced for two people, and decided to try rollover, but we more than exceeded the next two quotas on the first set of days, so after the first quota the mod immediately turned in quota 2 on day 3, which lost us out on two additional days
I'm not sure if that explanation makes sense 
but if it isn't understandable I can try to reword

Hi sooo, yes I understand having a exceeding number over the quota like leaving day 3 and going into day 2 auto-redeems the quota. This is a bug that is hard-coded into the game and won't be easy to fix. Until a patch for said issue is found I'm sorry to say that you'll just have to kind of play oddly around selling. I'd reccomend only selling until you just exceed the quota on day 0 and then keeping the following scrap on your ship for now. It will assure that you wont redeem the quota on accident until a fix has been found. Sorry for the inconvience, I'll see what I can do
