Hello everyone,
I’m writing this post to introduce you to a mod that I’ve created with two friends: Mystery Button.
As I wrote in the readme: “No one knows what this button does. It could make you rich or bring disastrous and chaotic consequences.” In other words, there are around twenty different effects (bonuses or penalties), but there’s no way of knowing which one will trigger in advance.
We released the first version on 3 February 2025 after a few weeks of beta testing, and I’ve been keeping it updated ever since because my friends and I love the unpredictability it brings to our games.
In one of the latest updates, I made it more customisable, and we’ve still got a few ideas we’d like to implement, such as scenarios!
Version 1.2.1 is compatible with Lethal Company v73.
Version 1.2.2 is compatible with Lethal Company v80.
