An indoors monster that relies on dependance. It's a blindfolded ceramic cherub, playing a heavenly hum/choir through the speaker inside it. The Cherub marches through the facility with its hands behind its back, trying to get crewmembers to listen to its tune; but beware, for the heavenly melody is not what it seems at first glance.

The Cherub, once spawned, goes into a search phase where it roams around the facility, until the humming is barely audible to any player, at which point the cherub stands still for 15 seconds, then marches back to its spawn position, entering phase 2 on arrival. In this phase, the cherub is expecting a player to tune into its choir as it marches through. if no player is listening, it starts to crack and the speaker becomes audible from further and further, until the entire facility can hear the choir.

Now, this choir is not any ordinary choir: It slowly heals players listening to it, but also fills up a secret dependency meter. The more you're dependent on the tune, the worse the withdrawals get. the first 5-10% is only auditory hallucinations of the hum/choir along with variable blurred vision. If you've listened for longer, the meter's filled up further, so more symptoms pop up: Camera tilt, ears ringing, muffled hearing, occasional non-lethal damage etc. Signaling the dependant player to go back and listen to it, at which point the symptoms stop and you "heal back to full health." The problem arises when you approach 100%, you're stuck to the cherub. Any attempt at running from it will lead you to dying from the non-lethal damage that has now become fully lethal and kills you within 15 seconds.

thought of the theming of vanilla monsters that have higher spawn rates on moons with the mansion interior

#

clay surgeon, jester, nutcracker etc

#

it could also crack a little further when the player walks out of its vicinity, signaling that the player needs to stay close for a first time encounter and punishing those who simply run when another monster collides with the path of the cherub
