there's technically 2 versions of the maneater (hence why there's real enemy snailcat and snailcat)
fake snailcat is for you to be able to carry it into orbit

So in my experience and what i recommend to use with miside items is basically the setup for what i see as perfection with item rotation saving, position saving, etc.

It is my out of bounds collider for the one asshole friend who will disable the room whilst youre in it, so instead you teleport back to the main room instead of falling to your doom

For some reason, it randomly cycles between blue, red, and green, and also displays a value of 0, despite not being scrap items

Hi would you consider making a niche tweak to spawn landmines under the players feet every few seconds as an incentive to explore and collect scrap
I think this would make the game feel so much more exciting and thrilling. It would also encourage teamwork by forcing you to collect scrap for the team and prevent ship camping.

im talking about the mirror in the miside house bathroom, it was dark pre-v80 because it was and is just mirror decors camera but not running 24/7, and that one was also dark i remember
as for the game itself being darker, i like it, now i dont have to use the darkness mod anymore

it seems now on top of layer funnies, playercontrollerb sets the game object LOD1 aka thisPlayerModel (not to be confused with thisPlayerModelLOD1 (lol)) sets itself to shadow only when getting close to something/cameras every frame or something

so if code rebirth is off and input utils is off, misideitems will break everything... but if code rebirth is on and input utils is off, its fine... and if input utils is on and code rebirth is off, code rebirth wont load and its still fine... what.......

this works and fixes it for the time being, i will probably have to approach this patch to code rebirth differently in the future... i dont want to use this as a dependency, since this mod annoyingly breaks the game with unity explorer installed for also some reason

i had time to actually play it properly with a friend of mine in a long day save and i found myself doing the same thing, a shame lethal washing is completely shattered right now, atleast when pressing buttons at the terminal. it functionally works, but the errors it throws are too scary
Bro ya that's what i do i use Quota Overhaul to keep the quota at 130 or more and never increase and slowly make my ship look cooler plus with the scrap mod that adds the ocarina and the death note with the with lethal washing i keep them, i do the same with the plushies from code rebirth
Hey can you add an outside hoarding bug as a door to door salesman that steals your scrap and sells it back to you for a lot of company credits?
This would be a good addition as it would make the scrap you get feel so much more important and valuable
Alongside acting as a cool reminder of all the scrap youβve found so far

2d item frames are made to make any item 2d and designed for small items, however thjs has made me think about possibly making a custom script for it to do any item that puts it in the centre on its own and resizes it later, like i did with drawers

if you want it a certain rotation before you put it in, youll have to drop the item and pick it up till you get what you want

there are a bunch of moons where the doors clip into the frame, or the frame isn't properly scaled to the doors, or the "darkness plane" doesn't cover the entire wall behind it, etc.
of course feel free to do something about it yourself if you want to, because idk when ill have the time to get to it
but hopefully it will not be something you have to handle forever (at least for chameleon users)

Went to sleep after experiencing this, now with a much clearer idea of what I'd prefer... Could you somehow patch ObjectVolumeController to work with Cruiser and Disco Ball (and maybe expand to other sources outside vanilla if you're interested) like the configs from Other Mods category?

Last I used ObjectVolumeController, it was messing with some other sounds as well (at least, i swear to god it was, because they were SO QUIET). honestly, seeing that video of the ai slop mod you sent earlier, kinda gave me some ideas but ideas of effort that idk if i wanna execute, so i could maybe instead find a solution to expand on ObjectVolumeController, i havent looked at the code at all yet but if i can do it, then i shall...
the question is... what do i expect people to fill out in the config... hmm... audio sources can be attached to many oddly named gameobjects... some gameobjects have the same name too...

If I could add my own suggestion, it would be to allow us to remove or configure the materials the Backwater Gunkfish is not allowed to leave slime on. I would like to make it be an outdoor enemy in my modpack, but it cannot leave slime on most outdoor material tags

an issue i found with baseddecorplacement is that the ship monitors dont have a collider, so you can no longer place the light switch on them (this is bad also because you can just hide the switch behind monitors and grief in that way)

hi new issue just dropped, baseddecorplacement seems to prevent alternative keybinds for selecting furniture (i have it set to F but it wont select unless i use the default B)

It throws an error everytime a player joins the lobby which in large lobbies does just flood the log with errors
