My first works were inspired by Beanie and Generic, but they're mine, I didn't use anything that wasn't in vanilla or acquired with the expressed permission from people
When I made Kiln, skelaah took inspiration from it to make the rework for one of his moons. And I was flattered, but it's his own unique thing
When I started making mods, I didn't know anything about them and I wasn't inspired by anyone and I made such mistakes that even AI node wouldn't add them or I made flying objects
Kiln is a really cool moon and I often add it to my modpack when I play because I like volcanic moons that are as small as a titan.
The moons I'm making now are not for myself, but for other players
because for me it's important that others have a good time playing, not me, and that's why I do surveys or make moons based on my friends

They have to be for both, if you're just making for others you won't enjoy making them

You are assetripping which is fine. Theres a bunch of people who do that. Your icons, and I guess some moons are heavily inspired by Wesley which again is fine in my opinion. The issue that others are trying to point out is the use of custom textures or models you were / are using without permission.
Don't get me wrong, Wesley is happy when he can be an inspiration to others but we kinda gotta police to community a little so we dont just straight up steal from one another and thats what the others are trying to do.
They are not here to shit on your work, (other than giving some feedback from what I've seen that was unrelated to this topic) just trying to make you realize if you make something that took you a long time, you wouldn't want someone to just assetrip your hardwork without even asking beforehand.
So for example the monty situation, I understand you dont want to wait or bother them sending you the files but it takes them like 2 minutes (if they are home at their pc)
I personally haven't tried your moons yet, but I want to ^^
after blowing up the rocks you jump on other rocks and you have the main entrance
so for the future just ask others, we are dedicated on helping each other, thats why we have so many tips, resources and go in threads giving feedback to each other
Yes, the icon from interiors looks like it was inspired by Wesley, the same with the icon from Mones Moons, it also looks similar, but I didn't want to do the same thing and I couldn't think of anything else because I wouldn't put a picture of the interior on the icon because it would look weird in the case of my work and eat it So I chose Wesley's style, but not 100%, at the beginning I wanted an icon different from the one I have now, only more beautiful, where you can see all the moons in their full glory, which are as if in the solar system or something similar. but the person who dealt with icons before BBAPepsiMan did it based on Wesley but I left the icon as it is now because I can't paint.

regarding the distances of entrances in the moons
The fire exit and main entrance may be far away, but it compensates for this by increasing the moon time, so for example, the time for training is about 2-3 times longer because the moon is difficult but also quite large.
You have to spawn them on runtime, if you just have the prefab there it will cause problems when you bring them to the ship as far as I know
This means it doesn't cause any problems, it just respawns the boombox in the interior as scrap with no value.

The first part of the update will be released soon because I have big problems with some things related to interiors, so the update to interiors will probably be three times later, but new moons will be waiting for you
I plan to add a total of 4 moons, but in a few days I'll give you 2 or 1, depending on how much time I have because it takes me a lot of time to repair the detonator, which spawns for everyone, not just when the host is on the server.

- I get where you're coming from with the resonating crystal sound. It wasn't too loud, BUT it drones on and on and on and on AND ON! I was going mad when having an extended look around. I think the airflow ambience is plenty for this moon.
- Even with the freecam installed, I couldn't easily find my way to or from main, and the afformentioned crystal sound made it an even more frustrating task. I would take a page from Musmoss and add guiding lamp posts to and from each entrance.
I make lamps on darker moons, but I can add them here too
and I will try to reduce the amount of buzzing sound
I'll move the main closer to the ship and it will be fine, I thought fire exit would take care of it, but I understand

this causes monsters to only be able to pathfind to 3 after a few minutes of observing

and for questions about the enemy, it is already in the testing phase and a huge update with it will appear in the next few days
bugs related to the AbandonedFactory interior will be fixed in this update because I will be adding a few more changes to this interior and I don't want to add them in a small update

I like this moon, but not because of its appearance, but because of the fun it brings

Appearance probably adamance, map design artifice for mostly the same reasons purple said. There is no one single path or an optimal path. The old birds are tedious to deal with out in the open with no cover and lots of weight so it forces you to plan out different pathing to avoid them.
Plus it’s one of the few vanilla moons that are viable with the cruiser, except rend.

even then, cruiser is still technically usable on titan
there is a boost jump up to main and it does fit
but theres no reason to actually do this

No point in bringing the cruiser on march when it has much less scrap than the paid moons and a lot of entrances

it doesnt matter most of the others are free, the fact of the matter is how strong the cruiser is when you know how to use it

cruiser is at its best on embrion
and dine profit is absolutely possible, especially when you add cruiser to the equation
Early game I’d rather spend the 370 credits on flashlights and shovels since I usually play in a group
If you’re solo or duo though it’s a different story. But for groups it’s not worth buying early and saving it for the moons where there’s more scrap
Embrion is good for cruiser but it isn’t that viable since Embrion has terrible scrap. Unless you’re doing it for funny which is valid.
Dine is low-key ass to play on though. Giants at 9AM and butler hell isnt worth it when you can go to rend or titan and have a better experience without losing out on much.
You can play dine for “fun” but it is subjectively not viable nor an enjoyable experience

I made the interior like this on purpose, but if it's bothersome, I'll fix it

I increased the size of the tile in the interior because my colleagues noticed that his entire skull is in the ceiling
checked, mech better now 2 more minor issues and that should be everything, shower still has some clipping
and the stairs clip into the wall/pillar

In the shower I think it's just a problem with the light, but I'll fix it tomorrow
these interiors all are really cool looking but from the 2 i've played (that being the cave and abandoned facility), these all feel the mineshaft on how rare scrap is
i didn't play a whole bunch of them so i could of just got unlucky

that map sucks for scrap so i could have just gotten unlucky
I tested underwater mines on Titan and there was quite little scrap next to each other, so there was 1 scrap for every 10 rooms

hey I just wanted to say I love your interiors, they're very unique while still having a vanilla vibe, good quality 👍 . My only negative feedback is maybe the hotel interior could use a little bit more tile variety (maybe like more versions of the rooms where there are beds/guest rooms), but other than that, great job

we played your interiors yesterday and while your mineshaft and facility remakes are generally pretty good all the other ones felt like lacked variety and were just a few types of tiles and thats it. greenhouse was the absolute worst offender of that. (with items spawning inside the dirt too most of the time). i hope you plan on adding more tiles to your existing interiors 🙏

I most want to improve the Haunted Hotel and Basement and modernize the newer interiors
If you want, I am open to your suggestions on what I can add to Basement and Hotel
and besides, these are pre-release interiors, so a lot will change in them
might have gotten unlucky with basement as ive seen a good ammount of tile types
tho it may generate them less often than it should as I would not see them every time
I do think basement could use some smaller lower celling areas

For what it's worth, I like the gardens interior a lot. I guess if you were to try and add more tile variety to it you could maybe take it in a more "exotic" direction, like maybe have a room which exhibits mushrooms in a garden or a room which exhibits crystals next to nature. This could also cause it to fit in even better with some of your moons that way, too (the musmoss and crystalix moons).
also good news the new abandonedfactory update works properly with levelloader/moon interior weightings again, tested it and confirmed
I think for interior that's called garden there no variety when it comes to flowers so even maybe adding diffrent kind of flowers could enhance experience

Due to the fact that V80 is coming soon, I decide that it is not worth it for me to do interiors because after V80 is released, 90% of the mods will not work. so I'd rather do other things than create an interior that probably won't be ready in time or will only be available for a few days

the only reason v70 broke so many mods was due to the unity version update messing with a lot of how the code works

Yes, but zeekers changes so many things and there are so many of them that it won't add them all to the changelog, so it will have to be checked line by line in the script and it will take a lot of time
zeekerss wrote that he optimizes scripts, so you can expect a lot
but in general, mods after the V80 will not be necessary because it will add so many things that it will be difficult to discover everything in one day

Make new but the moons will be based on the v80
The update to the moons will be released after updating the interiors, which will be a bit heavy due to errors with scripts and textures, which, even after trying to fix them with Reconnector, still don't want to work.
Interiors are my priority so I'm trying to fix them and add some V80 related stuff to make them more lethal.

Yes (kind of)! Doing fully dynamic runtime generated interior radar isn't an easy undertaking, and the structure I use for outside contour map generation isn't super easy to apply to interiors yet.
So, until I or somebody else gets around to actually finishing a project like that, Universal Radar will automatically restore something similar to the old radar when a player is inside an interior detected to have no radar sprites. This should at least make outdated interiors playable, if a little visually jarring."

the most unique aspect of underwater mines was the caves section especially with certain parts being lit by lanterns, so if you do remake it maybe focus on emphasizing that side of things moreso
I have encountered the chase room for the first time in the recent 0.5.0 Beta. It was amazing at first, but quickly something felt off. Like the fact the I had to run for 2 minutes straight, so I started questioning if I've missed something. Also the chaser is either was too slow or bugged, because I looked back multiple times and was not sure If I'm being chased at all
Yes, it is slow, but it speeds up over time, but I am working on making it fast enough as a player's run and adding that you get infinite stamina and any small mistake can cause the player's death, It's a beta so there will probably be a few changes because I really like this thing

If i could suggest one last thing for Basement it would be to make this metal gates to open faster because dungeons itself is fun but waiting for all gates to open so slowly is makes it kinda boring
I'm not sure if its the modded interior or the modded moon in this situation, or both having a bad day. But i had the interior Haunted Hotel roll on the hidden moon from DemonMae's Cruiser Moons pack and upon going up the stairs in the hotel, you just die.
All console says is Kill Local Player, makes the interior on that moon impossible, which, okay sometimes moons and interiors don't like each other, but just wanted to note that if that's a fixable thing.
It's the moon's fault and it's probably because there are kill triggers on the moon or the place for the interior is too low
I've heard about several suggestions, errors and I've experienced them myself. There will probably be an update to the interiors today to fix them and remove a few things that don't make sense after some time. and if something you liked is removed, it will probably be added if someone wants it

@onyx lava i had an issue where in the haunted hotel interior, the walls were clipping through the doors to the hotel rooms and also clipping through the shower doors, I really dont know if that was a seed issue or something

Otherwise the Shader gets rendered incorrectly only on the left eye, which is very unpleasant.

@onyx lava Qvertix is still a banger, we have enjoyed the new version a lot. And it's far better than previous instance. No issues encountered. BUT, haunted attic and basement are very buggy, at least for us. These are the only interiors which somehow broke enemy spawning. Every time they occured on the moon, there were no enemies with error like this. And, almost all interiors from your mod have serious problems with culling of far tiles
this may be a problem with custom enemy
I found a problem with it, it's my fault because I forgot to remove the enemy AI collision detech from the Jester box
I will make an update soon that will fix it

Mr Mones. i have come to be quite a fan of your interiors when playing them in my friends thrown together modpack, and im not sure if youre aware of this, so i will report:
haunted hotel
- you cant seem to fit through any doors or some sort of scaling is off in the haunted hotel with every single door (screenshot 1). This seems like an incompatibility of some sort, which is pretty crazy and only happens with this interior specifically
- scrap spawns outside of playable bounds (screenshot 2)
- the wall between the shower and one of the rooms seems to be missing as well (screenshot 3)
- has some issues with (presumably) cullfactory when in mid air between tiles (screenshot 4)
haunted attic
- scrap can spawn outside bounds
- often, fire exits are blocked (presumably when theres more than 1 or 2?) (screenshot 5)
- I think once I got into that running portion and it was long - and i mean seriously long, this modpack has speed set up to be stupidly fast with LGU and it took me over a minute of running in a straight line to get out - this was quite a while ago though and i have not tried it since

they really surprised me because I play them a lot and I didnt have the opportunity to find something like that apart from scrap, fire exit and collider from Gate
the chase room is different now, it's a bit longer but you have infinite stamina
and besides it is especially long to make it harder for players because they have a more tendency to get stuck and lose
oh okay, i wasnt sure it was intended but if stamina is infinite now then i see no issue
as for endless hall, ive only gotten this twice so i hadnt taken note of anything yet, but ill hold that thought and check it out later today for you

the hotel is no different except that one of the two randomly selected residential rooms can spawn in one tile because I use local prop set to generate a specific part of the room
Now I tested Hotel on your modpack and suddenly there are so many errors that it's not worth talking about these errors are 100% caused by modpack

The modpack itself doesn't lag or have any errors, but lethal sponge is the cause of errors in my interiors
even without cullfactory there is no lag on any interiors

Today I will make an update that will fix my mistakes, i.e. scrap out the map to the attic, collider from the gate and fire exit to the hotel and attic. You have to take care of the rest so there will be no mistakes.

j*mpscare. anyway, i can say without a shadow of a doubt the issue is not lethalsponge, ive just tried on a fresh profile. Cullfactory will cause issues like this screenshot, but cullfactory has a config anyway to blacklist it from culling specific interiors - I just thought it'd be neat to add support for it.
and its not another mod i suspected it could be either... fascinating...
turn off Cull Factory to Mones Interiors and it will be over
I formerly retract my statement, it IS lethal sponge, but its just this one setting causing issues. it isnt enabled by default. Never had issues with this before, but i guess thats why a blacklist exists huh
but... ion feel like trying to get all those mesh names... so it stays disabled instead ❤️

they are more like cutscenes
so they arent registered as enemies

sponge issue was bc they turned on a setting thats off by default
and ive used it with cull and have seen no visual issues
This also explains the wack ass light flickering in the endless hall
these are off by default for a reason
id be cool to see some in the future, to make it look more abandond
like some the dead end tiles are collapsed rubble
This fits in with Underwater Mines
some the celling beams broken

having some the walkways dented and broken
some shelves knocked over and some in the halls

How does one beat the chase section? I got to a part that appeared to be just a dead end, but there was a sort of side section, stood in it and died still
You have to run forward without stopping and at the end look left or right to see if there is an exit from the chase room
you can't hide from the monster
Ahh, gotcha, that makes sense
When you exit the door in the chase room, watch your step because a reward may appear there.

The vine tile should not be taking advantage of the moon's naturally spawning scrap
I got like 1/3 of Experimentation's scrap in that room, while the facility was desolate everywhere else, making gameplaying more or less boring
If you don't have a shovel either, the moon is just unlootable because of this tile
There is a 12% chance of a regular scrap spawning through the moon, and there is usually an additional scrap spawning through the interior
so 1/3 of the scrap shouldn't spawn there, unless we're talking about the entire scrap that was spawned

Say, is there a way a config for making less loot spawn behind planks? I mean its a cool concept, but seeing 4-6 pieces behind them first quota can be a tad bit annoying especially if signs don't spawn

Does this mod have a conflict with cullfactory, the office map seems to have rooms disappear when they are clearly in view.
my interiors don't fit with cullfactory because of the large number of objects and large rooms
so I do not recommend using cullfactory for these interiors or disabling cullfactory in them

Do your other interiors have features like that or are you planing to add some? I would have some ideas if you're interested.
They are still in the attic but there are very few of them and I plan to add them to the monster and the bad elevator to the Endless Hall

Don't know if this is even possible but you could make it green for good/red for bad but when there is no power to the interior (breaker box turned off) They both show up as yellow
this interior doesn't have a breaker box like all the others except Abandoned Factory but I can add it
I think it could fit the aesthetic

Mmmmh yeah maybe an animation that only plays like every 10 seconds. So if you want to be sure you need to be patient and wait to be sure
The animation could be it being green for 10-15 seconds and then it quickly shifts to red and then back to green

Maybe even make it turn red when you look away, so when you look it briefly shows red before turning back to green

Backrooms doesn't fit well into the game in my opinion, I like to appeal to vanilla and having a backrooms interior is like having a minecraft moon.
But most of all, we're getting a movie theater interior!

what issues are you seeing? did you make sure your tile bounds and doorway socket sizes are correct?

I've never encountered issues caused by number of objects, and the screenshots don't seem all that out there in object count
Endless Hall reminds me of your old Garden interior so far
