Also the current scanlines are very basic, had some issues with them disappearing when they are not done correctly (still have no idea whats correct lol, its been a headache for me) but if anyone has a good idea for a scanline that looks kinda cool I might try to crack this formatting issue or whatever it was

Notible differences compared to ScanRecolor:

  • HEX format for ScanColor which lets players use a colorwheel in lethalconfig and gale as well
  • Fixes an unnoticed issue when you enabled RecolorScanLines - it reformatted them to Linear instead of sRGB causing the default scanline be less visible
  • Hold Scan Button integration, which works well with RandomColor config
  • RandomColor config option is slightly modified on what colorrange it can choose from
  • new custom scanline textures which work with all other config options
  • added dirtIntensity config option for the scanline texture visibility ranging from -500 to 500 (float), Default scanline uses 352.08 and so you can either increase it or decrease it (goes down to 0, cant go negative), while custom ones use 42 as default

After playing last night, I’ll probably up the custom scanlines’ basic intensity to 100 from 42, you can just do -58 on the config later to get back to 42.
Now I also wanted to improve visual for the scan effect but theres already a mod for it, BetterScanVisual, issue here is that if you have that mod the scancolor would be overshadowed by that mod’s lightsource “Nightvision” color. I reached out to DBJ idk if he’s still around the mod hasnt been updated for a year (not that it really needs an update ig) animeshrug

  • Changed how gradients work, they look nicer imo this way -> you have two config options for gradientA and B (if you reset both of them then the solid color config will be present, which to be fair feels a bit redundant right now but I'll leave it in for now.)

  • HandsFull text now has its own color config
  • Chat placeholder, chatcaret are taking on the inventoryslots color and inputtext is using the complimentary color for those so its actually visible what you're typing ^^

    • Solid for just a simple color change
    • Gradient that changes hue value
    • Shades that go into a darker color BUT if its a dark color to begin with, it will go a bit lighter and then red

  • Finally added chatframe to the inventoryslot's image array
  • Added fps and ping counters - you can enable each seperately, change their position together (FPS is above ping so keep that in mind)
  • Removed Circlegon scanline
  • Changed Circles and Hexagons scanlines (still not happy with circles but hexagons looks pretty nice now imo)
  • Added Noisy, Scifi, Circuits scanlines (noisy and scifi look really good imo, ciruit looks a bit iffy, but it is what it is)
  • Added MonoDetour as a dependency
  • Added weight selections and starter color - basically the heavier the carryweight gets the color of the weightcounter turns bright red and then dark red

Hello! I have a question, is there a way to make the hud options and colors show for all players; sort of like syncing up with the configs that were already saved for everyone to see and use?

What you are asking is most likely for whenever you send a profile code others would also get your selection, so like basic configs. I’m planning to do that so modpack creators can still save their setups and others wouldnt need to touch configs, but I also needed these global configs, since resyncing to someones code and losing my selection was quite annoying - at least to some players. I’ll figure things out soon ^^

Also you could probably look at PHT if needed to do the parenting fix if you didn't already properly parent it to the ui, something about PHT that other health texts always skip is others always move around and look janky when moving the mouse ingame, that really irritated Swaggies when he was working on his version and he found a way to properly parent it to the ui lmao

Yeah configs right now are fully client-sided meaning they wont be overridden by reimporting someones pack but that also means modpack creators cant share their setup for my mod that easily.

Hello, good day everyone, just wanted to give a recommendation for features for the mod, sorry if this was already mentioned before or is already included in the mod and I just didn't know it.

  • The option to remove something from the hud, for example, to remove the compass completely.
  • The option to move something on the hud, for example, move the clock to another position in the hud or move the stamina to the right side.
  • The option to resize something from the hud, like to make the stamina bar or the chat smaller, I know there are other mods that do this for specific things like the clock or inventory slots, but still would be nice to have it in the same mod, if it's possible of course.
  • The option to toggle the hud with a key, this one would be good for taking screenshots in game.

Of course if this features are not possible or they just take too long to make there is no problem, still love the mod and thank you for your hard work! (Also my bad if it's too long)

Geez I didnt expect compass to be this uh "difficult" , softmask has some fun stuff I'd love to mess with on my own projects NODDERS but anyways we got 3 additional config for compass and all are basically just about hiding or making it more visible.

well one of them is a goat like creature that's partially insectoid/beetle like that mostly dwells at high points and hills and getting near them will prompt them to make a buzzing bah sound as a warning. If aggro'd they will charge forward with wings buzzing and flapping while running doing a kinda forward hop knocking you far doing small damage on hit but sending you about 4 ship lengths away.

They are very furry can and will climb on walls (Eve vertical) and occasionally will even rest on them as their spot. They mostly just fly or walk to resting spot to resting spot eating grass if on grass and tapping and grinding at the dirt like a horse to eat something if on desert. They mostly are a hazard for high up places or on hills making some alternative routes trickier and potentially slap Stick.

I feel like its fitting to do it this way instead of just an actual goat because lethal company seems to have a lot of insectoid and arthropodic species but also like the baboon hawk while it's biology is alien its features almost falsely resemble a hybrid of some kind which I think is cooler and just in general gives more room to play around with different mechanics and concepts fitting to it and it's theme.

whenever someone else in the lobby picks up an item (i'm client), it puts the scrap value in the equivalent slot in my hotbar (and also RuntimeIcons tends to rotate the number as well depending on the item)

I cannot explain it, and I don't got footage of it, but whenever using this mod it seems to delete the volumetric fog, I have a huge modpack though which makes it hard to identify any mods that may be incompatible with it either. Do you know if there are any other recorded instances of this?

Ok, so I am not crazy- It would seem as though that your mod sometimes makes all volumetrics disappear in game, permanently. The only fix I found is tedious too, and that's if you can even call it one, the way I "fix" it is by deleting the config and redownloading the mod, do you know if any others have had this issue, or is it seriously only me??

I would have absolutely loved to give you a code to it, but my mod manager took a shit on me and corrupted my stuff- I have a code that I shared with my friends but it's a bit old so now I need to recover some stuff before I'd find it to be usable. Odd results, I can report that your mod replacements are FRIGGIN AWESOME, but, the fog issue resides, BUT ONLY SOMEWHAT! It's odd, instead of being 110% gone EVERYWHERE, it's present on and off during the same session, I don't know why. Still, thank you for your help!

My bad, forgot to elaborate, what I mean is for the new value counter things, any slots I had that were above 4 did not have any shown value or equate to the total value, and as for the volumetrics issue, I honestly got no idea, it may just be an odd incompatibility that just happens to somehow mess with it, I can’t explain it :(
Luckily, some of the cool people here did show me some mods that might be murking up my mod setup and even be the incompats, so far in my playthroughs I have had much less missing fog, so it really might just be because I had some outdated mods, truly a great mod though nevertheless!

Eladshud is also recolorable now, next update will contain:

  • improvedclock merge (TestAccount approved)
  • eladhuds compat
  • scannode shape changing
  • misc tools color config (fps, ping, seed display once thats done)
  • a way to do local config if you want to opt out of global configuration (what we have right now) tho this will still take some time to figure out, I do have a little idea what could work

  • Hopefully made it so you can now set the config up as local with another config - you need to restart the game for it change
  • Added ChatInputText config option and changed some logic in it
  • Added EladsHUD compatibility
    • stamina works with all three config options
    • healthbar works the same way as my text version
    • healthbar background box uses Main Color
    • carrytext again uses the same logic as mine, so you can have kgs, manuls, recolor em.. but manuls wont have asciis
  • MiscToolsColor config - change color for fps and ping counter (reminder: ping is still not finished, it will only show 0ms)
  • Added 2 new scannode shapes, you can now change scannode shapes (they were mostly made for testing purposes, I'd like to make a bit better choices
  • Hopefully fixed rotation issues with the value displays and made sure the mod works well with hotbarplus
  • Reparented total value text
    • Added config options to change its position
    • Added config option to remove delta info (+, - numbers)
    • Added config option to change how the total value is shown (Total Value: number, Total: number, or only the number)

! Note for switching configuration

There is a seperate config that generates when you load up, if you change that in the modmanager, the mod will use local config instead of global

Use global if:

  • you only want to set it up once and never want to change again
  • you dont want modpacks to override your stuff
    Use local config if:
  • you are a modpack creator
  • if you dont really want to mess with configs that much or you are fine with modpack creator’s setups

And just make a copy of your LethalHUD config if you're planning on making a modpack-dedicated settings and want to return to your original afterwards

As stated before the global config is in \AppData\LocalLow\ZeekerssRBLX\Lethal Company\LethalHUD
This will never be overridden by localconfig (using a different modpack / reimporting a modpack). Changing from one to the other needs restart.
