Just needs a trigger collider (excluding all layers but Player and PlayerRagdoll recommended), and a player staying inside will have their drunkness increased by that amount

But you can just have the speed at like 100 or something to max it out instantly

Uhh the formula for the actual value increased every frame is Time.deltaTime / 1.75f * drunknessSpeed
TZP's speed value (when active) is 0.4
so it exponentially goes up while inside
Player drunkenness goes from 0-1
Could also do a detach timer instead of detachOnExit to give the player 3 seconds of the effect specifically
Oh and attachLocally should be on for PlayerHinderer, so multiple players can get hit by the effect at the same time

Well, as you all know v73 is here, and a lot of mods are broken as of now. Since i don't know the extent of the compatibility of moons built on v70-72 projects:
My moons will not be updated to v73 until there are proper means for that.
As a sidenote, I'll upload a hotfix for Kiri regarding balancing and lighting fixes that will still work on v72.

Ok so tiny update, it seems like one does not really need to update the unity editor for the assetbundles to work, unless it has networking custom scripts. I did it anyway to futureproof the project, and everything seems to be working with the new assetbundles (i just needed to tweak Taldor a bit), everything else seems to be working as intended, when and if we have a release for a map loader, i'll update all of my moons
You want my moons? You can have them, I left them all in one piece.

If you want to continue to use them on you v72 game/modpack DON'T UPDATE THEM or DOWNGRADE TO THE PREVIOUS VERSION

hey peeps I've been thinking (shocking) and I'm in a bit of a conundrum
I have been planning a nice and juicy mid to long term plans for my moons, I have the idea and concept of a couple of more sagas that will interconnect with each other making a big story, not Weasley size but using progression in the future, with the possibility to expand on it if I feel like it
The taldor saga story would be revamped by that time (the story will be the same, but presented in a different way to adapt it to the system)
So here's the thing
Should I make a "Kenji's Moons" pack, containing all of my moons (without any lore inside)? Maybe deprecate taldor saga and migrate it? Leave it there until I implement progression?

not sure if im just insane, but i tried downloading the pack after removing the saga because i could no longer transit to lua after i was able to before the update, and i was getting some issue being unable to move beyond the screen of selecting 'online' or 'lan' due to [Warning:LethalLevelLoader] SceneManager has attempted to load InitScene Scene before AssetBundles have finished loading. Pausing request until LethalLevelLoader is ready to proceed.
and then it never resumed
after disabling it and going back to the saga it worked fine
do you have any of my other standalone moons installed?

OH I FORGOT to answer the "i could no longer transit to lua after i was able to before the update", the thing about "Taldor Saga" is that the moon is supposed to be hidden and only accesible through a secret word (that you get through the lore logs on the other moons), i might've forgotten to set the secret word the update before last!
so sorry for the confusion...

yeah, it's mainly because I did upload it standalone a month after the 1.0 update, so i had to build a version with the secret word/hidden and the normal one without it and i might've copied the files from one to the other lmao

I'm popping in bc I was trying to add it to a mod pack with a whole bunch of moons, and every time I go to nostalgia specifically, when it spawns outdoor monsters (particularly the dogs as that's all I've seen naturally) it leaves them floating above the ground and unable to move/attack even when aggro'd
I don't believe anything else I have should be causing that..? I could be wrong, but they work fine everywhere else

The only thing I'd do is change the icon/links from the videos to just to the new pack one (I'm moving my moons to a single "Kenji's Moons" pack, I'm maintaining Taldor Saga in the meantime because I don't want the lore to be lost, but it'll probably be deprecated once I start figuring out a new way to implement the lore)

Create a pack, move taldor saga and deprecate the old
Hey, so I'm whipping up a quick mod-pack for friends to play with the Taldor Saga, and I wanted to know what the recommended interior for each moon is, I got Deepcore Mines for Ascension and Facility for Taldor (due to the gimmick), trying to find out what would be best on Dejection and ||Lua|| (not wanting to spoil myself so I can't guess off of screenshots)
Ok, for Dejection i would say something you'll find in a city:
PlayZone
Vehicle Hangar
Storehouse
For ||Lua|| i would say either Factory or Mineshaft
vehicle hangar is actually secretly only for ASTEROIDS
next update, if it is found on any normal moon IT WILL EXPLODE!
Thank you so much, I had Storehouse for Dejection, but had Office for ||Lua|| surprised that you recommend the vanilla Factory ||(guessing there is a gimmick I don't know about)||

I saw that your doing something bigger and I'm hyped, I wonder if it will be just like Wesleys or if you'll try and do something a little different
I'll try to make the progression similar to wesley's, so it's easier to progress and understand, but also giving my own twist on some things
Alright, we got done about an hour ago but I'm just now writing this so heres what I think of the moons
I never got what the others thought of the moons so I'm skipping them
Taldor: I don't have like anything to say about the moon, got boring after like 6 - 7 trips to it (could be due to one of my friends hating stormy weather so much we just never went to the other moons more then once or twice), the moon lacks anywhere interesting to go, but I did enjoy it more over any of the vanilla moons, also I liked the fireflys a lot
Dejection: I liked the atmosphere of this one a lot, loved how it starts eclipsed and then goes sunny for a bit before dark, I forgot the moon was cruiser focused and we didn't buy one before we went so it was very much a walking simulator, the gas station goes so hard, I'm sure I would have enjoyed this one a lot more if we had the cruiser and we went more then once
Ascension: I loved this one a lot, making the climb up was fun and I just loved the whole idea of a mountain moon, definitely my favorite of the 3, I do wish we went more then 2 times but stormy appeared and we had to go back to Taldor...
Overall I just liked the gameplay of this moon outside the interior, it felt fun to move from exit to ship on this one unlike Taldor
Deepcore Mines went hard on this moon so thank you Beanie for making my favorite non-Wesley/Playzone interior, I deadass can't wait until that big update to it I am being STARVED
Continuing on, the group I played with was not interested in the lore, meaning we did not get to ||Lua||, I had a long ass rant here, and I decided to make it cleaner to read as before I kinda went off
Anyways, ||Lua|| from what I can tell is less of a "secret hidden moon" and more of a lore based hidden moon that would just lose the impact if skip to it over reading the lore, yes there is a standalone, but I feel like if someone just looks at Lethal Company as a "hilarious moments and giggles" game only I kinda don't want to experience a cool moon with them if it's "just another moon"
This is more of a me issue and likely just puts me as a bad friend, but I would rather play a bunch of standalone moons with no story with that one guy in the group if his reasoning for not wanting to read a little bit is "A moons a moon, still the same gameplay"
I think it hurts me that I can't seem to get others to see the love put into things, from the idea of creating the moon, to the experience you can have on a good one, I still deadass think I'm the only one who has read all of the lore logs in Core Rebirth
Which brings me to the thing I forgot to say in my main message, I enjoyed the little story you made, it gives background and I like it, yeah it's not the best lore ever written, but I enjoyed the few logs I got before we got off (read all the logs on Taldor and Dejection, but didn't get all the ones on Ascension)
I'm sure this stupid rant came only from the same guy who told me that he would have preferred if you found letters for a code word on the moons themselves over having to read lore
I'll likely wake up to this and remove it after I've slept on it, but I wanted to write something cleaner then what I had before, I just wanted to say that I very much enjoyed Ascension and Dejection, and that maybe, I did really want to see ||Lua|| this night
That was quite the read, I'm sorry to hear that it wasn't the mood of the group
That's mainly why in the future I want to go a bit more for the "Wesley's moons" route, even if it means having the moons less tied on requiring you to read and understand
I'm glad you did enjoy the moons (although dejection has a path if you don't have a cruiser ||if you walk straight ahead, look for the hole in the fence||)
And yeah, Taldor is just the starting moon, to get the first logs and maybe have the first quota there since it's free but that's about it

Ascension was being made alongside Deepcore and with it in mind, we gave each other lots of ideas and feedback that's why I consider it "the canon interior"
I still remember the horrors of being chased on the path by a masked and falling off due to panicking
We had good moments on the moons and I had a lot of fun, I just think I played with the wrong group this time around, I'll let you know what I think about ||Lua|| when I reach it
I'm still on the slim chance of hope that Code Rebirth will come back someday after LC leaves early access, I forgot his name but I know he's alive somewhere after the rest of his crew died, likely on Hemogoblin (forgot the name), still ||wanting to understand the loose ends with the manor lord and his wife with whole voodoo stuff, I also loved the how one of the members of the crew shot one of the guardsmen due to one of them killing his dad or mom (I forgor), the lore was banging and I deadass don't even know why I like it so much, I just do (I'm forgeting a lot, it's been a bit since I've read the lore)||, if CR ever does come back, know the moment Hemogoblin drops I'm putting making a new mod-pack for CR on the highest priority
Code Rebirth went from content mod #5 to on par with Wesley's Moons from that single update, I have still yet to see everything from that update in game, I'm mostly just struggling with finding out good moons to go with CR without taking the spotlight from CR
I agree with this. CR’s story is really good and after reading about it in game haemoglobin is a place I want to visit. CR is unarguably one of the best mods, atleast a few of its features fit into almost every modpack alongside the ability to disable what doesn’t work (although I usually recommend playing with the full mod) makes it unique among the very few other content mods.
It’s a shame that development has been stopped, but it makes sense given how long Xu and Rodrigo have worked on the mod. They both have other projects they want to work on which I’m also excited to see.
I agree, CR is just so peak, the only reason it's not higher then Wesley's Moons is due to a lack of the "big goal" that Wesleys has, still love the content but apart from Oxyde it lacks goal of "getting somewhere", but GOD the content is just incredible for how much there is
I'm likely going to need a ping or reminder when Rodrigo drops that sea platformer game as I'm very much wanting to play it, not sure what Xu is working on tho
But yeah uh I still kinda want to uhhhhh know when Wegleg is dropping Fart Zone 2 with the rest of his """"Wesley's Moons"""" hes making (like Piss Land, Fortnight Grimshit, and uhhhhhhhhhhhhh idk i forgor 💀)
To be honest, a big reason why me and rodrigo stopped is we don't really see much talk about the mod, supposedly it happens but youd be the first person I've ever seen mention reading the lore, which took quite a while to make,
We've also just in general not been too happy with what we've made, oxyde is kind of in a state where its not super fun and we have a couple ideas but there isn't really any feedback for it so we haven't felt the motivation to pick it up again, even if we have other main projects it's still a very fun side project
