so, in case people have never seen the cube (the original movie at least), the cube is a huge cube made up of hundreds (thousands? maybe) of rooms... every room is a cube, they are identical EXCEPT rooms have colours.
in the movie, colours i dont think have any real significance... but maybe in the lore they do, im not sure.
but yeah.... in the movie, rooms can move around the cube, in a set pattern, there is nothing in the cube... aside from TRAPS.
now these arent your standard "turret" traps or anything, or "mines".
but we are talking...
traps triggered by...
1 - stepping on the floor
2 - making noise
3 - just being there (the more survivable traps i guess?)
traps include...
1 - flamethrower? (i think)
2 - acid spray
3 - laser beams moving accross the room for jumping and ducking, etc
4 - spikes coming out of the walls and floor (triggered by sound.. instadeath)
I realise.. most of the above isnt possible in lethal company.. but i thought, maybe a similar premise could be made by an interior.. maybe an interior/moon combo that CANT be put on another moon? i d k.
if its just an interior.. then my thought was, there is only one entrance, you teleport inside.. ALL FIRE EXITS are blocked on the outside purposefully, but you can exit from the interior via fire exits.
when you teleport in the main entrance, your character has no vision, and "opens its eyes" after 2 or 3 seconds and can see fine (like you were mysteriously knocked out.. and moved, and left in the middle of "the cube" interior.
in the starting room, you have a message written on the wall.. perhaps in blood... telling you, there is no scrap to loot, you have but one goal, find a fire exit, and escape.. if you make it to a fire exit room.. in the fire exit room is the equivelent of scrap for the whole moon, for which you can pick through, and take as much as you can carry back to the ship, once you leave via the fire exit, you cannot return aside from via the main entrance.
so its not really a "looting" interior.. more a "survival" interior.
you can split up, and die 1 by 1... or you can stick together... and some routes/rooms (there is multiple routes as you can go all 6 directions from the main room.) may require sacrificing a few people.. or throwing an item into the room, etc.. to test what the trap is.. so you can get past it.
the layout of the room would be as follows:
1 - all doors are vents in the middle of the wall on each side of the room
2 - side vents would have a little ledge to perch on as you come into/leave the room, to allow for jumping/assessing the room. and a ladder up to the side, and some way from the side to the top too i guess?
3 - ceiling and floor vents would have a rope/ladder leading from top to bottom.
traps would be up to the creator, but the movies have a lot of ideas xD
