the real funny thing is, due to my edits of the rubber rooms' size generation, sometimes only the reception counter at main entrance spawns, and all of the loot is at the loot node thats there
its pretty frequent here from what i tested
im going to add the cabinet to hardships, but i dont know if ill add them to journeys
AJ has a lot more cache already
and i think the harbinger does fine as an extra addition

i have seen a majority of new content but i want to play each new wesley moon in their default state before i know what would be interesting changes
plus i want to integrate new items and interiors into other moons
on top of something else im not going to spoil exists

however, AJ can now have SIDs since sciencebird tweaks added an option to blacklist specific items from being selected for a SID
the initial reason i turned them off was due to the gimmick i gave the huge harold and comb chair

IMPORTANT UPDATE
I completely altered the information about uninstalling the mods that are "missing dependencies", both on the README and custom data chips on the free moons. I realized that the mod pack installation itself automatically downloads mods marked as missing dependencies, and as I've (hopefully) made clear, those mods are not meant to be in the pack. I assumed that it didn't just do this, and it was a by choice thing to install missing dependencies, but it was much more irritating than I thought (for me). So, I've completely rewrote the guide for properly playing, and now you will know what mods to remove, as I've made a list of the ones to remove on the Thunderstore README; the data chip contents now just say to read the README for more information. Of course, some people still won't get it/care to get it, but if you're not one of those people: Thank you for reading what should be, and I apologize for if it was confusing about which mods to uninstall, enjoy the mod pack!

What made you come around to MattyFixes? I know you were kinda staying away from that mod
why were you staying away from it? (original was accidental caps lock)
because i didnt know how to properly stop it changing item rotations
this is an extremely nitpicky reason but it is true
at the time i had a really specific item placement desire for stuff on the ship, mattyfixes was messing with my muscle memory for organization because of the changes
but if you want a slightly better reason, i specifically hated the position change for spawned in candy, old phones, and magnifying glasses, because i was really used to them spawning straight, and it made it hard to tell if i was looking at an item thats part of a hoarding bug nest
(because hoarding bugs always drop items tilted)
I mean, Hoarding Bug nests are rarely if ever set directly in a scrap spawn spot, so this should not be a huge loss
as a whole i tend to be bothered more so by small things rather than large things, including for personal traumatic events and whatnot
that is its own problem i maybe need to work on at some point
but it is why this bothered me so much
if you want to know the solution is setting all items with a changed coordinate to "default"
which sounds redundant but "default" equals 100% vanilla no changes
i suppose thats another problem i have with mattyfixes, the config is very undiscriptive on several settings
and ultimately i dont even understand why this particular setting is a thing in mattyfixes
because its not a bug or an egregious problem in vanilla at all
its not a "fix" for anything and theres no reason for it to exist

apparently the blacklist doesnt work for this case
heres some additional context
i was able to get items with 0 weight as a SID
and it isnt absurdly rare either, especially in AHU, due to how many unused items there are with 0 weight set
xu has plans to fix this for coderebirth items
but its not only coderebirth this is happening for
so my solution that i think is less damaging overall is i have disabled SIDs entirely
how are you blocking stuff from being in SID

Can't you enable a lunarconfig setting to run late so it sets its defaults to what central config had them at
i use itemweights to change item value ranges and weight
lunar doesnt have an automatic transfer for that mod

hey guys so after some considerations
i am not going to be switching to lunarconfig yet, and the main reason why is simply because im exhausted
i have spent over a year and a half now on these mod packs, i didnt even think id get to a point id want to make a spin-off one
right before i was able to move on v73, i encountered an extremely bizarre issue in the arduous journeys profile
what happened was whenever i tried to generate the hallowed content config for wesleys new interiors, it just would not properly generate, the file was there, but my gale client was not allowing editing it at all, and it was also completely blank when i finally discovered this
this appears to be an issue that occasionally happens by pure random chance and can happen to probably any mod
(if you want a solution to this btw, generate the mod's files in a different profile, then go into the files for that mod, find the config, and copypaste the text using notepad into the profile its broken, this will only allow you to edit the config from your mod manager client until you launch the profile again, but it will save whatever changes you made still)
before i properly found a fix for it, i thought the only solution would be to completely clear out the cache 100% of wesleys mods, JLL, LLL, and centralconfig... so i did exactly that and i had to copypaste everything back into the centralconfig config afterwards
thats the main exhaustion catalyst for me not wanting to switch to lunarconfig, but in general i have had to take up so much time with so many different small things over the year and a half+ ive spent on my mod packs, and people may think im overexaggerating, but remember this mod pack isnt just a standard every day mod pack that only has installed mods and nothing more, there is a ton of configuring i had to do for multiple mods, and it has genuinely taken weeks of hours of my time to keep up with all of it
so yeah, for now, im sticking to centralconfig, until it properly breaks

I can relate to your pains. Mod configuration and curation can become really exhausting and hard. I, thus far, refrained from any centralized config mods as they already just looked like they'd be a giant hassle, especially with compatibility and longevity.
Though once Lunarconfig uses DawnLib exclusively I think I'd start using it because it seems future proof and reliable that way.

I like messing with the weight systems quite a lot. Or Betterfog as well. I took deep dives for both WeatherRegistry and Betterfog when configuring those. LGU is also a big one that still requires some work
so i had to painstakingly pick each skin for each independant spawn of each moon one by one
then actually use the sliders for the chances i want
and ive remade the skin configs multiple times for AH
in AJ its just one skin for each independant spawn
but i might change that with the next update for it since i lost all the configs due to clearing out everything

and it usually just amounts to them having to clean out cached LLL stuff to be able to properly load (into a lobby, not the game itself)

usually this happens because the path is too long
which you can only really "fix" on your end by making your mod name shorter
which i think requires republishing a separate package under the new name
but it's probably more the responsibility of who posted this to try and reduce the path name themselves
by installing stuff to a different directory, etc.
also not to be shady but "Thunderstore Mod Manager" is like a billion more letters than "Gale"
there are multiple ways to do this (referring to reducing the path name)
im just saying if it is an issue with the path being too long, using the mod manager with the longest pathname doesn't help
in short, use another mod manager 
You can also mess with a registry key to prevent this from happening in the future
This will allow windows to see file paths longer than 255 characters

and i think most people would rather have the bracken than dogs
in general dogs can also kill other monsters for you very easily
They usually fit best on desert moons so it’s not a common occurrence to have a bracken and a dog on a single moon in most modpacks, but I can see why they aren’t used inside often

the mannequins from decrepit store are really fucking stupid to target with the zap gun
the headless one is completely fine
but the other two are fucked up probably because wesley made them part of the default layer
or something like that
im not 100% sure
but its the same reason they move sometimes even when youre looking at them
that being said, its still possible to target the other two mannequins you just kinda have to dance around them as the zap gun is scanning

dawnlibs most recent update forces me to swap to lunarconfig
if you want to play one of my packs right now, do not update dawnlib to version 0.7.3+, it will break the entire content configuration thing
"you will use lunarconfig and you will like it" ahh update
this was imbound at some point
i just wish i got like, at least a week more to not have to do super big work on an update
i blame my skin list suddenly breaking three times and forcing me to have to redo all the skins
now i know you can back it up and i have said backups now
but still why
that just kinda ruined my energy to do a big thing like this, and various other small things
but i literally have to now

Massively rewrote SpawnWeightsPreset class for future maintainability, this is a breaking change with LunarConfig until they update to latest DawnLib (which is soon).
i dont expect you to change anything about it just so centralconfig works alongside it
thats not needed, people should swap to lunar regardless

If you noticed it overriding something then that's just how it's always been
The changes I made allow me to edit code without asking people to update everytime

i updated dawnlib and it just stopped working
There is definitely no intent to break central config that update so I'll fix it if need be
heres what i think is happening
when i tried to check configs for beginning swapping to lunar, central didnt have a single moon or interior option available, and i had to downgrade to 0.7.2 to get those configs again after loading a lobby
so dawnlib is probably changing how all that stuff is loaded in a way central cannot read them as existing
which is why im saying i dont expect you to do a single thing
I get that but 0.7.3 really only changed DawnLib's internal code on something very specific, I'll take a quick look with CC and DawnLib to see if there's any obvious errors like that

I used to like Seichi more than Bozoros but I have really come around to the latter’s chaotic energy. I like AH’s tight balancing, but it’s not LC without some tomfoolery
I voted espira and seichi because they're the most memorable and stand-out moons to me compared to the others. I only ever played espira the one session with you months ago and i still remember what it was like, and seichi is cool enough with the barrage of masked and oni (i initially chose penumbra for that list because it's penumbra, but then i remembered what seichi was).
I think part of me just choosing what was most memorable to me has to do with the fact that i really don't play the base versions of most of the moons, so it can be hard to know exactly how much is changed (even though each clearly have drastic edits and are cool)

I chose espira because thumper + masked are a fun combo
It also has a near 1:1 journeys equivalent which I’m a fan of for the same reason
And Seichi is a very pretty moon. Makes it instantly better than the others.

Update on the life of my mod packs:
My personal laziness kicked in again lmao 
I have the capability to get everything stablized for recent API updates and LunarConfig in probably around 6 hours of a day, I've just been procrastinating, and I apologize.
Additionally, depending on how feasibly doable it is, I may potentially make a mod pack for R.E.P.O, as I've gotten more into the game during my procrastination. This is not a guarantee because I spent some time digging through all of the mods of R.E.P.O, and a lot of them are either immersion breaking nonsense or just not good at all/not functional at all (I genuinely don't think any good modded monsters exist besides most of Wesley's) and it's currently a lot harder to make a mod pack that would standout for that game compared to Lethal Company, plus I imagine not a ton of people are particularly interested in modded R.E.P.O if it's been fairly lacking in high effort projects like Wesley's stuff.
So yeah, again, I'm sorry I kind of just suck with properly spending time for stuff like this. I know it's not my life, but I still have high care for my mod packs, and I just want people to know that.
