Will update this with more ideas if they come to mind. Not sure how well this one will fit, but it came to mind as I was freshening up for bed, and I'd forget about it if I just wrote it down in my notes app.

Summary
A claustrophobic dungeon flow that slightly deviates from vanilla themes such as factories and mineshafts. This one could be closer to something like the mansion I suppose, and may even come with a new entity.

Hallway tile
Behold... an old ass, creepy wooden house featuring long, dreadful hallways. Complete with a pale floral wallpaper, popcorn ceiling and a yellowed carpet. Another version of this hallway may feature a light wood instead. Both hallways would be just wide enough to fit two players side by side. This aesthetic kind of reminds me of the ghost girl, now that I think about it.

Placeholder name: Monitor
I tried to come up with something new for this enemy. This one, almost like a trap, is basically immobile. Originally, the monitor was all about gravitational pull, which is why the design is a mask hanging from a string. But I think I have a less lame idea... Maybe this enemy is capable of grabbing you with a pale arm once you're close enough, pulling you head first into the ceiling (20 damage?) and then pulling you towards itself. I'm also switching the string out for a limb, binding this monster to the ceiling where it spawned.

There is counterplay. While the mask deals 50 damage on contact (I believe half the player health), it also has HP and is killable, because this would get pretty annoying/problematic if blocking an important doorway. There would be a hitbox on the hand as well as the porcelain face, giving the player a fighting chance. The monitor would have 4 shovel HP, like the thumper.

So far I have a mental image for a large lootroom intersection (living room/kitchen/staircase) and perhaps a library section, based on a dream I had a long while ago
