hello I have been enjoying farming and cooking mod, is there any way to check the recipe of items added by farming and cooking mod without the need to open the mod page?
well, recently I started I figured out playing with UI, and for a while I did want to make an in-game recipe book. Though as of right now, there isn't an in-game visual list

Here's an idea I just thought of, not sure if it's good, but I'll put it here for fun;
Combining the egg beater scrap, flour, and a sapsucker egg could give you batter.
Batter could be used for making a burstberry cake or something of the like.

uhhh, weird, I tested this a little bit ago, and it was random? Like, the first 3 times I tried, I couldn't climb, and then suddenly, 2 seconds later, every climb worked. I'll check more into ladders in general in a bit I guess

oh yeah, atm it's default only to that, or if you add any custom items to the cheese config list. Since I added it after seeing Gorgonzola's cheese scraps, and thinking it would be cool to give it special recipes in some way. Though I do plan to add a native way to have cheese ingredients at some point

I'm not getting a whole lot on Adamance
and rakes are still spawning on forest moons, despite me having set them to only spawn on Experimentation and Artifice
yeah, I was going to say you might need to pay attention to textual tone, since some people could interpret things as negatively blunt, or possibly discouraging. I typically don't get discouraged, but it's a good thing to look out for
That said, I guess a config for damage would actually be a good idea. I did initially design this before all the foliage from v80, so it was more visible and could all be dismantled at day, before. Though either way, a config would be nice to cater to any playstyle
uhhhh, it seems correct to me? Adamance just might have less outside map hazard spawn points than some maps, and in turn might need higher weights? Just something I noticed using the same weights on experimentation vs old march, for example.
For the rake spawns, I'm assuming you set the global weights to 0 as well? If you did, then I'll have to see what's happening I guess

yeah I'd say try pre-april fools. The only other changes you could notice is extended catwalk will push you off again, if on the extended portion. And no infinite story config π

not for this specific case, of items not saving in the same spots. The only time it used to happen was when there was something I wasn't doing on my end
what she means is, only the location of scrap within the vanilla ship gets saved

- Initial release!
- Added NPC script with public welcome trigger (to begin interacting with NPC). Typically just use an interact trigger, but you CAN activate it using something else. Also includes NPC name for chatbox, welcome message for initial interaction, and scrap spawn position for shops (FKKK I NEED TO ADD NATIVE OPTION FOR SPAWNING SCRAP BESIDES JUST FROM SHOP, but later). NPC script can be placed on ANYTHING, items, furniture, map objects, enemies, etc. Just know, if you place this on vanilla thumper for some reason, it will still attack you, BUT... you can talk to it!
- Added NPC chat node scriptable object. Includes NPC display text (what the NPC says when this node is active), response select text (your response in other chat nodes, that lead to this chat node), a list where you add response options (0 response options closes chat box when selecting this node), locked options based on indexes in response list, if this specific node has saveable interactions, if this node opens a shop instead of dialogue (and which shop), a list of quests that will allow them to be instructed, progressed, and completed here, and the ability to trigger unity events when activating this node. Save data key (for saveable chat nodes) depends on .asset name.
- Added NPC shop node scriptable object. Includes options to allow players to buy items for set amount of credits, sell items for their value (alongside any multiplier to this), if selling here contributes to quota, trades to turn in one item in exchange for another, and item lists for buying, selling, or trading items, either referenced directly, or by name (for third-party or vanilla items).
- Added NPC quest node scriptable object. Includes list of conditions to consider this quest complete, ability to progress conditions via unity event and condition index, OPTIONAL item (or item name) to check held player object to show "progress option" dialogue, ability to run unity event when completed, dialogue for unfinished quest, progression opportunity, and completion message, and a bool for when completed quest has been claimed (example, after completing a quest, and claiming a reward at an NPC). Save data key depends on .asset name.
- Usable unity events include: LockDialogue(index), and UnlockDialogue(index) for Chat Nodes, Progress(index), DespawnHeld(), and ClaimQuest(claim) for Quest Nodes, and Welcome() for NPC script.

because I changed my mind and decided to do them as the next thing
oh yeah, I ended up looking at another tab for a bit, back to what I was doing
NPC API 1.0.1
- Fixed an issue casued by sync re-order.
1.0.2 - Added NPC save state for GameObjects turning active, or spawning (depending on referenced prefab type). Example use cases, doing more quests making more objects appear around the NPC.
- Added optional NPC Node specifically for GameObject save states (still includes a bool for adding node to save list). NPCs should still work without these.
- Added optional animator reference components for running animations when talking, and when no longer talking to an NPC. Currently hard-coded to "Talk" and "Idle" animator states, when entering and exiting chat box.
- Fixed bug of sell shop showing empty elements based on number of trade shop elements visible.

apparently dawn updated, and changed some things. And since I was transpiling something in it so items could save in the pocket rooms with dawn's save system enabled, it now just broke. But apparently it's easier to indirectly backhand me than to think I have any reason, so I'm just going to remove that part entirely instead of changing it I guess, don't really feel like catering to that part anymore. It'll fix the issue, and items will still save in the pocket rooms for vanilla's save system. Just if you have dawn's save system enabled it will teleport to the vanilla ship bounds

The impetus this time was especially nonsense: Xu changed the shape of an internal/private member of her own API without disclosing it because its not part of the surface of the API and it broke a patch Mel made. Xu expressed shock that somebody would patch an internal member. Generic decided that meant Xu was being a hypocrite about "don't make breaking changes" and forwarded that message here escalating the situation. That's how I see it and that's why I'm at my wit's end with you guys

There is a way to save scraps position inside the pocket rooms/dimensions? The furnitire locations save but i dont know if the same is possible with scraps
items should save with the vanilla item save system. So it's likely you have Dawn's config to disable its save system, disabled (it's defaulted to use it, and the way the config works is presented very inversely to what's expected). But switching between item save systems will make the scrap disappear between each version, so that's a bit of an uh oh
I had a problem that teleported everyone to pocket rooms; this option fixed the problem, although you can no longer add things, but I'm happy now. βΊοΈ
oh, yeah, I'm thinking to actually disable it by default, since it's kind of annoying sometimes, even in my play tests π. BUT, by the way, you should still be able to walk into the doors, specifically in build mode. Though now I worry if in your case, it will teleport everyone inside while going in with build mode
Yes, it teleports everyone out of the dungeon, but it doesn't do that anymore since I disabled it. The only thing is, I don't think I can put furniture in there anymore.
well, what I meant was, walk-in teleports still activate if the player is in build-mode (like when moving furniture), regardless of config. Since it's the only way to put stuff in. But I'm worried if the issue you had will still happen in that case π. Maybe I'll actually try double checking what I did for the walk-in teleports

Yeah, i run with a 3060 dual oc 12gb vram with i5-11600KF and 32gb ram. Maybe to potentially solve the issue is to cull the lights that are above you/remove the lightsource until you are actually in the room. Idk if your able to do that kind of thing
when i said significantly i mean like around 30 fps/20 less. which is quite big from just turning on 3 lights
