the frames I also think could maybe use another art pass, they're a lil too thick I think but that's just personal preference

It's definitely some odd material thing
they clip into the back in vanilla too
the rear wheel arches on the vanilla truck are too small for the rear wheels and they sit lower down than the front ones
the easiest fix (to prevent clipping into the storage compartment) is to just jackup the rear suspension height
or you can rework the shape of the rear wheel arch and add a wheelwell cover on the inside
i reworked the shape on mine and added small covers inside, because i wanted to keep the suspension travel without it looking odd and having them noticeably clip through the back
my wheels are a little smaller than the vanilla ones, but they're the same shape as the front and they sit at the same height as the front ones. i also redid them on my v55 car, but that doesn't nearly have as big of a wheel cover inside as the Scanvan
if you push the vanilla one any pay close attention you can notice how the wheel is clipping through the bodywork on the outside lol
i also only just realised how far back they sit compared to the wheel arch lmao, anyways here's a video to show what i mean

You can modify the interior's spawn chances through the LethalLevelLoader config! You can find it inside the config folder that's found in the BepInEx folder

My first suggestion is.. when purchasing "walls" and "doors" from your utility mod, it would be really nice if the textures of the walls and doors match the textures you set when modifying your textures via the 2 story expansion mod
In addition, it would be really nice if we could change the textures of the railings in addition to changing their apperance from mansion/default
A minor inconsistency i noticed but it looks like the stairs that lead to the third floor is using the rails textures while the stairs that lead to the 2nd floor uses the wall textures. I'm not sure if this is caused by me adding wider ships or not but it would be really nice if the stair leading to the third floor used wall textures instead of railing
im a HUGE fan of the wider cabinet item from utility furniture. My only issue honestly is that its green. It would be nice if it was red instead to match the vanilla cabinet as well as the workshop and workstations. Alternatively (tho i understand this might be more difficult and not really worth it) maybe there could be a way to change the color of the workshop workstation and cabinets?

idk which update introduced it but I absolutely loved the update where you can now move around vanilla furniture as well. Though I did notice that not all things are movable. Namely the suitrack, the terminal, and that generator thing on the bottom right there. I understand that, for balance reasons, the terminal should stay in the first floor so I wont ask for it to be moved around (tho it would be cool if we could) but would it be possible for the clothes rack and that generator thing to be movable?

im not sure if this is caused by the shipwindows mod but it would be really nice if the third floor window here was either turned into a regular floor, removed so that its a hole, or just move up so its more centered with the hole in the 2nd floor. I know the 3rd floor is super unnecessary but I love messing around with the ship interior and sometimes I wish I had more space to place stuff
it would also be nice if the stairs that led to the third floor were moved position wise. considering how small and generally unused the balcony to the left of this image is it would be nice if the stairs to the third floor were here instead

Finally, i think it would be really nice if the amount of walls and doors you can purchase are doubled or even tripled (or even configurable?)
I also miss the alternate door types you can buy. Stuff like solid door made for a perfect door for bathrooms for the ship and whatnot. I do love having multiple doors so if the alternate doors could be added back without deleting the new doors that would be great
Also going back to this: it would be nice if the railing was optional as well. Maybe something you can decide to place down rather then it being there by default. That way the player can decide to move things around or place a wall there instead of a rail.
Anyways, sorry for the wall of text there. I know you're busy with the new room thing (omg im so excited for that you have no idea how long ive been wating to put DECORATIONS in there)

oh also one last thing. Some parts of the ship can be very very dark by default. It would be nice if we could somehow purchase more lights to put around the ship.

I REALLY love decorating my ship as well. Like you said: portable house. I have so much fun messing around with all the options that your mods provide. I also try and mix and match other mods too to try to try to make the ship feel as home-y as possible. It's a nice sort of relaxation from the whole "getting torn apart by monsters in the facility" thing

yeah, I definitely plan to re-add the alternatives. Assuming I can make the configs work, I could try have say, 10-20 "reserved wall slots" that you can choose each for being a blank wall, gate, door, and which door they use
The id messup thing does make sense. Understandable if a "cap" needs to be put in place in order to regulate that. I do appreciate the consideration and I do hope a way to accomplish the whole extra walls + material thing ends up being discovered. Unless you already have a plan which in that case awesome ๐๏ธ
As for new furniture... What if...
Standing Lamp: A standing lightsource is super nice and can brighten up the ship to make it less dark.
Chandelier: A nice ceiling light that could go well with fancy table and fireplace.
Fancy Sitting Chairs: Something to go with vanilla Fancy Table. Maybe you could buy 2-4 and the only action they do is you can sit on them (think of like how you sit on the electric chair)
Barstool: more chair variant. Could be used if youre trying to make a kitchen bar or a regular bar or just want a nice sitting chair at the terminal.
L shaped desk: more desk variants. Could act as additional storage space with the shelves or be another place to put stuff on. Could be metallic to maybe blend in with the terminal to create a more fancy "terminal" spot or just be a nice office desk that you can have in a bedroom or office room.
Office Chair: IDK if this is possible as a furniture but imagine a funny chair that you can move very slowly on. Maybe it could be better as an item if the coding for it as a furniture is too complicated?
Fire Alarm: A funny switch that when flipped, makes the sprinkler system in the ship go off or something while alarm noise plays. When this is on and the ship gets hit with lightning or someone put the wrong thing in the charger, everyone in the ship takes a bit of damage cuz electricity is flowing through the water or something LOL.
Cubical: A simple box with one opening. Place L shaped desk in here to basically make an office or you can place the cubical around the terminal to make that an office spot.
Dresser: Simple dresser to put clothes (or scrap) in
Wardrobe: Simple wardrobe to put clothes in. Maybe with precise item placement management on the player, there could be enough space in the back for you to cram the placeable fireexit inside of it to basically make the wardrobe a portal to narnia. except narnia is evil and full of monsters that want to rip your head off. Actually... wait that's just regular narnia

oh also water cooler and an expresso machine that when interacted lets you get a cup of water or a cup of coffee respectively. idk what theyd do but i think it'd be funny

its complicated at first for sure. It has it's own unique UI and it uses unique strings for its items rather then the actual item name which i think is so that it doesnt conflict with other mods. Ive gotten used to it's ui tho so its fairly mangable for me to navigate and i like it because it offers a variety of household furnituires. I particularly like the kitchen set it provides as well as the bathroom stuff it gives. I just wish the items were interactable. All of them do nothing so it's more or less just nice extra decoration

A couch would be nice to sit with your best buds and not just by yourself. (We always have just the sofa and another couch mod that NOBODY can sit on EVER)

Do custom posters not work for 2-story? They were working OK beforehand, but now they refuse to load through the mod manager. Can't make heads or tails as to why I'm not seeing them anymore
2-story doesn't have built in posters yet, unfortunately (after several months), and I was somehow more motivated making moveable furniture versions before adding direct versions in 2SS. But tbh, it really shouldn't be hard at all, so I guess I can finally queue it for next time I do 2SS update
if this is 2-Story + Wider, that's my bad, and I can probably fix that if I'm assuming the correct area

ohhhh yeahhh, the grilled cheese is actually (currently) only able to be made when you have cheese items from Gorgonzola moon. If you keep default settings. Though you can technically add other items to be considered cheese

Since I need to update both mods at the same time (removing old pocket room from furniture mod, then also adding a couple things). I have other rooms planned, but rn it's just 3, yeah
also there's a config in new version to allow which enemies should not be allowed to teleport through doors (mainly to keep out giant enemies)
Honestly this is extremely cool. My biggest worry funnily enough is not having enough furniture/beds to furnish all these rooms now LOL.

so like if a player isnt in that room, an enemy wont show up there. but if a player is camping in the room for too long during a moon, some horrific bs shows up
it was a minor issue that my friends and I noticed with the current avaliable room. While the issue is mostly fixed with what you shown so far, it still is an incredible safe and powerful spot to camp in. My friend has this strat where he stores all our loot and stuff in there so baboon hawks and other bs animals cant just walk in and take them. And its also a good camp spot if ghost girl is haunting someone since she cant get in that room
so i think adding vents would be really funny

I recall sending screenshots of posters some months ago. The difference between Then and Now is that the vanilla posters were able to load in place, albeit not the ones you purchase. Those retained their default look no matter what I did. Now, the base posters are completely absent. I know that the charger got moved recently, but did the last few updates affect the vanilla posters?

yeahhh. I'm hoping depending on how ghost girl and mistress AI works, that they can now appear in the room (ghost girl can at least path in while moving). But imagine how evil, having enemies spawning inside, and even having them leave room and ambush you on ship

I removed ship windows recently. No matter what I did to either the 2story config or the ship window config, ship windows just made windows completely nonfunctional for some reason, even when they were enabled without needing to purchase them, or just disabled entirely

if that doesn't work, then after, try doing the same but for 2-story config. And if that does work, then tell me, mainly since it tells me what I should try avoid changing in configs, if a config update broke it (when I was doing door panel config resets for example)

that's only position though, but rotation should be fairly simply, and if you get it wrong, you can just exit the save (not game) and load it again

Several enemies seem to be having trouble killing when you're on the first floor of the ship.
When you exit the ship or go up to the second floor, this is fixed.
Also, enemies continue to enter from the ground on the right side of the ship instead of the main entrance.
You need to turn Navmesh Regen on

Gratar just loads really slowly and we had cases of some people ((pacoito)) getting crashes during it regening

@rich ice i have an additional suggestion for 2 story ships..... What if there were additional "exits" to the ship? Maybe you could purchase a shutter door for the 2nd and 3rd floor but these shutter doors are half the size as the original door. Maybe unlike the regular door these doors do not require power and are simply switched open and close (tho maybe this can be a config thing too to give enemies the ability to walk in through the 2nd or 3rd floor) Maybe they could be off to the side walls instead of the front or back walls of the ship.
or maybe a hatch in the ceiling? (With its own ladder, of course from the inside)
a ceiling hatching would def be interesting too. I think that could work alongside the 2nd and 3rd story doors

actually, I wonder. What happens if you first install 1.1.10 of 2-sToRy sHiP on a pack, and then overwrite the existing pack that has it, so the mod is already downloaded there?
since you should be able to, after downloading the mod from the store, change versions of it, too
i only tried to just install the newest version of the mod then overwrite the mod pack it still gave me error

From message one under this one, hatch in the ceiling seems pretty cool and might make the most sense for a spot. But yeah, it'll be a config option defaulted to false if I do it, so it has to be enabled to add it

Okay, so just for shits n giggles, I booted up my save file just to see how much the apartment changes things and I accidentally created a Portal situation where I can take a Room door into itself and create an infinite loop, LMAO
I'm starting a new save file anyway, but I just need to generate a new config, is all
the doors teleporting you when just walking into them is a bit restricting of where you can put them (if they are in a high traffic area of the ship it will teleport people a lot), is it possible that they only teleport if you're moving something?
So imagine placing a bedroom door, grabbing the door with the intent to move it somewhere else, but then walking up to that very same door while you're in the process of moving it... and teleporting yourself into the room you're also moving. If you place the door in the room, you're placing the room inside of itself, and if you try to walk through either door (regardless of the one you came out of, you loop into the same room from both doors
I stored the door away and it forcibly ejected me on top of both rooms where you can pretty much see the entire map, and the only real way out of that situation is to just fall to your death, lmao
If there's one item that should absolutely be restricted from being placed in that room for sure, it's the Terminal. In theory, it's possible to softlock yourself from an entire run if you place a terminal in a bedroom, leave the room, select the room's door to move it, walk into that same room, trap yourself, and then even if you were to manually stow it away, you'd be forced to off yourself from the map, leaving the terminal stuck in that room with no way of retrieving it
I was thinking about restricting room doors from entering themselves, but then you could probably break the game all the same if you do, say for instance, Bedroom0 door in Bedroom1 door and Bedroom1 door in Bedroom0 door. Those rooms might loop into each other, but it's funny. The terminal potentially getting stuck with shenanigans like that? Catastrophic, lmao

uh, shoot, I gotta do a patch again I guess. It did the thing where it switched materials when I edited them without changing their order in blender
if you get this, you can enable the navmesh regen in config. It's still disabled because I'm still a bit uncertain with it, and want to test a few things that I couldn't yet, since it can still cause some pacoitos to crash on some moons. But even without the regen, the enemies should have an easier time pathing to ship inside of through it

Speaking of posters, I figured out the issue on the static ones not changing. The movable posters still start off magenta/missing and load into vanilla ones after reloading though. Not sure what I'm doing wrong, but hey, the static ones are working again, at least!
Found out that r2modman put the poster pack inside another folder, for some reason
Oh, and one other thing: It's also possible to softlock someone in a bedroom door if you position the door towards a wall or some other obstruction, and you happen to be inside trying to leave the room, you can lock yourself inside 'cause you'd just teleport back in it. If there was a way to maybe end up back in the main part of the ship somehow to circumvent that, it'd be great

I did this too, but when I was doing some remodeling, I had placed the door I entered a little too close to the wall, and when I walked towards it, I ended up in the room, then I tried stepping out of it. I guess because it's positioned too closely to the wall, the door would register my model as it leaves and pulls me right back in. Unlike the door-inside-door divide-by-zero gimmick from the first patch, this one was just flatout completely impossible to get out of in-game

Actually, come to think of it, a room type I'd like to see is a double-door setup where the room itself has two entry points, and depending on the door you go through, you come out of that door. You could do something nifty like place Door #1 on the first floor of the ship and Door #2 on the second or third, and take an alternative route upstairs and vice versa, Euclidean geometry be damned
EDIT: The room in question could be something like a living room or a kitchen
Also, I dunno if this is possible, but if there was someway to teleport into the rooms facing forward, that would be great. Characters coming out the other end sideways does this weird thing where your character kinda nopes out of the room sometimes because you slightly graze the door trying to move forward, and it kinda makes traversal awkward at times. Dunno if that can be fixed

weird, because the items in my tests have stayed in the rooms. And yeah, I was testing without something like Matty's Fixes. So I'm not sure if it's just a vanilla inconsistency thing, or something else. Because I remember specifically making sure it worked for me, so the storage room would actually be able to be a storage room
tbh, I probably just gotta rotate the teleport point transform, and I just never did that before here for some reason 
also that could be cool, I'd play around a bit of which way I could end up doing that
I don't really like doing it this way, but that's just kind of my way of making it so placing stuff in the rooms still works, items on my end at least, save in the rooms, and players both don't teleport back to ship on orbit, and to keep them parented when in the rooms if the ship moves. If you have a better idea, I'd look into it
also, if you mean like changing the actual reference to the ship bounds to a different one, and then changing it back, it's a bit of a funky way of saving item positions. Changing the bounds before items spawn doesn't like to save the positions still, but changing it to something already with the bounds, do. Yeah, probably better ways to deal with that, I just kind of did this for now
also I like these, so I'll try to keep them saved for something I'd wanna do
oh also, I still need to fix the 2SS window slots when windows are not enabled ๐ญ, I've just been silly and doing other things. I meant to do it like exactly a day ago

Good news! They stayed after rejoining on a fresh pack. But whenever I go to my pack with 237 mods, I place them on the shelves in the pocket area, and yet all of them get teleported back after rejoining. So it's definitely something with my pack or some form of compatibility that I don't know about.
not sure if logs would give much info on why items teleport from the room in your pack, but I'll still check. That being said, if you're willing to share a mod profile code, I could at some point try to use it to pinpoint the cause

Hello! The ship windows used to work with the 2 story ship but it doesn't anymore. I swapped some load orders between them but nothing really did work. Can somebody explain if im missing anything else or doing something wrong? ty ^^

so I have a couple suspects as to what might be happening. First, have you tried deleting and letting the config files regenerate, for 2-Story Ship, and/or ShipWindows? Make sure you remember/save the settings you set for both, before doing that
If that doesn't work, I need to try recreate the issue on my end first, since it seems to still be working for me. Is it possible if you could send me a mod profile code?

vanilla furniture works and the only new mods i added are lunarconfig and shipwindows
well I can confirm it seems to be something weird happening in the pack. Furniture Lock's 1.4.2 start unlock seems to work with mine in a control group test pack (that has ShipWindows), but not in the given code specifically (unless ShipWindows is removed)
However, the Furniture Lock's 1.4.3 version seems to work for your pack now, with ShipWindows enabled.
I do still want to figure out what specifically is happening. But according to the log, there is some unlockable ID conflict happening, likely with ShipWindows, that only seems to be happening in this pack
so I actually just looked at FurnitureLock thread before investigating further. I only checked window unlocks were the same before, but just saw it's shutter switch thing. I'm just gonna double-check test rq to make sure. But yeah, good to know for future reference now
so at least it shouldn't be anything I'm doing, which means, yay, I don't have to do anything. Since I'm on break

posting this here, because questions lead to answer and here seems like the best place to askabout the ship floor/walls...(especially as i was using 2 story ship)
in the video attached, my friend was repeatedly falling through the ship...
my question is why could they stand in certain places perfectly fine....? but also walk through the walls of the ship..and fall through the ship in the middle?
surely there must be something different about those areas of the ship.. to which the rest of the areas could be changed to prevent falling through the ship in the future? (for both players, and items)
the last time i saw falling through the ship, i got rid of being able to walk around outside.. and i was bouncing all over the ship.. but my friend in this video was standing perfectly fine... not bouncing... so if anyone knows the difference between the places they fell.. and the places they walked fine... it could provide a fix maybe?
this is basically aimed at whoever knows anything about the floor/walls of the ship, though i was using the 2 story ship... but i dont know if those parts of the ship are vanilla ship or 2 story ship, or a mix.. etc..
EDIT: actually i maybe need to get testaccount's attention, as in the video the problem may be the area around the window ๐ฎ (although i would assume the wall stuff is not anything to do with shipwindows, at least not that part of the wall?)
Did you have the floor window purchased and then lose quota? ๐ If so, then I've also experienced this. I never got around to confirming if it was solely due to 2story/ship windows or a mod incompat because... I forgot about it :P
the falling.. whatever causes it is various and unknown.... i think fixing that.. is impossible.
but preventing the floor from being not-solid should be easy, same for the walls... though admittedly i think people fall through the moons themselves, so maybe its not the surroundings, but the players shrug? but, still, i d k why these places in the video, the person did not fall.

I'm having an error where I can't grind wheat in the Farming&Cooking mod! It doesn't do anything in game and I get unity log errors seen here. Am I misunderstanding how this is done? Thanks!

oh yikes, yeah, it would still be happening. I kind of failed last time I tested, and never got back to it ๐ฌ, I'm uh, going to try again actually, since weirdly, the mods I thought would be responsible, weren't doing it, at least by themselves?
Well, whenever you try it out, let me know how it goes! (It's for V72. I have a completely new and updated pack for V73, but the issue would still be the same on the V72 pack that's still up there. That way I can inform my friends about it!)
so I was just skimming, I removed a couple mods since they green fog screened me and errored out for me, the HUD one and LethalThings. I also updated all mods, and just so I could launch faster, removed every moon and interior mod, suits mod, mirage, and emotes mod. So I could test faster.
In what I ended up with, items weren't teleporting. I'll have to now do another few tests with the unedited but still updated mods pack. Possibly still removing the 2 mods that prevented me from entering a game, if they continue to do so. If items don't teleport for me after this, then I wouldn't know why it's happening for you
also btw the ship is very nice and cozy
I guess in hindsight, even if they did teleport, I still wouldn't know what's causing it, since not sure what or why any of what I previously considered unlikely causes, are touching, that would suddenly teleport the items

I use an offline setup (so still v72), but i was curious if you could add some compatability with Oxygen Mods tanks.
Using 2 Story ship, theyre a bit away from the wall as opposed to the normal Oxy tanks which are flush against it.
Coupled with Wider Ship, the tanks are pretty smack dab in the middle.
I can of course disable the tanks in Oxygen's Config, but im hoping there will be a compatability between the two.
Looking for the "Fill Tanks" option on your default placement of the tanks? Essentially a duplicate tank that allows that interaction.
That way i can just disable the tanks Oxygen puts down

Heya Mel, reporting another incompatibility with a couple mods
Its pretty likely that neither Light Controls or Outer Door Buttons will be updated as theyre 11+ months old. I figured perhaps it was because of the added cells from the portal rooms i was also using but no 0-o
So what i use involving the ship
Wider Ship
2 Story
Ship Windows + Celestial Tint (ship doors on)
Outer Door Buttons
Light Control
So heres the thing. When using Wider/2 Story, Light Controls and Outer Door Buttons causes duplicated button panels across the front left of the ship (past the magnetic switch out into space).
Using just the light panel without the outer door button doesn't cause the issue.
Only having the outer door buttons also doesnt cause an issue, its when both are on that things get crazy.
Light controls is pretty old and has alot going on under the hood, so making a patch for that might be a headache.
So a simple solution. Would you be able to perhaps add an option in the config to have a little green monitor button on the outside of the door?
As long as it doesn't create duplicate panels everywhere, thats it.
I can live with just not having the button, its just convenient when testing or if your friends lock u out and you have mods to increased door timeout
โก TLDR: technically incompatible with Light Controls, but mostly an issue with the Outer Door Button mod. Maybe adding your own button would be easier than a patch.

Reproduction needs both Light Control and Outer Door Button. Separately they're fine. Also no duplicate panels without Wider/2 Story involved
I could try something like that, I'll see what I feel best doing. That being said, I do have to fix something in newest (private) version of 2SS. Since in my test pack, it seems like it's causing network errors it didn't cause before I put the updated version, but still on v73

nothing i set to start spawned is spawning, buying them from the store is not spawning them
pocket rooms are working though (in solo at least)

okay, thanks. I found out what was causing this to happen on your pack. Turns out a small change I made to the always available in store options, actually broke it here if it was disabled. So I just gotta fix that
I also found I broke the chair's from appearing visually, so yeah, just gotta fix that too

it indeed does work
it's just a part where I was changing the unlockable type before registering the furniture. Since before I had to do that, and disable the always in stock options.
But seems I don't need to do that anymore, and it started causing issues having it
as in, I don't need to change the type anymore. I'm still changing the always in stock options, and it works now
After the change over to using DawnLib for the furniture pack, all of my furniture vanishes every time I reload my game. Has anyone else experienced this?

Yup! It is a new save, only a couple of days in and started after the DawnLib update.

ideally i'd also need stuff like debug logs and whatnot with dawn's debug logs also enabled but that can be a bit much to ask for
I'll say stuff I found. I can reproduce it, though not in my test pack. In the pack I can make it happen in, I can be in the same game session, and rejoin the save, and the stuff does disappear
yeah, from there the game is just disabling mods until its okay
well, technically the first thing is enabling my debug logs to make sure stuff is running first but yeah

yeah, stuff like this usually helps a lot, in having like, weird exceptions. I have a question though, to help uh, reduce testing. Do you have FurnitureLock, and do you have always unlocked on start for any of them, and which ones did you manually buy, if it's not all

No, nothing is unlocked on start. We just buy it all.
hmm okay, can you go to the bepinex config and enable debug logs on console etc, it'll be like a dropdown of log types but i need that one mainly.
Then go to the dawnlib config, find the config with a bunch of check boxes and turn all of em on, they should be my debug log configs
from there, just create a new save, buy something, leave the save, re-enter the save, they should be gone but ill have my logs
The item I bought is still here in my new game. I feel pranked. ๐ I'm going to save this log and see if relaunching the entire game causes the issue because that's when I have usually noticed things going missing.

well I guess I definitely found a different issue. This one was just something with the auto-unlock with FurnitureLock, not saving. But buying the stuff lets me avoid the issue entirely. I'll be opening your pack now to reproduce your specific issue
