enemies shaking pikmin off might be a good thing to add instead of always killing them? enemies that can damage pikmin on them are often really hard to fight unless you have a ton of pikmin (and some enemies can't damage pikmin on them, like brackens, being completely defenseless if even a single pikmin is on them)

That's something I also plan to add in, just haven't really gotten to finding a way to determine how enemies will shake Pikmin off.
But I'll start to look into that once I start re adding in the enemy interactions

could slap a cheap fix? just make them shake them off over time as i said and stun the enemy when it "shakes" them off
though, i suppose you want it to look more official than not for the full release

set the mob to spin in a circle for half a second at 400% speed
or, have it pathfind to a place in front of it to the right, and a place to the left really fast so it "looks" like its shaking
I think I was going to do something like that in the beta but then I forgot. The only enemy that can really shake off Pikmin are Baboon Hawks, but they can only do one at a time.

could do it on a timer scaling with how many pikmin are on the enemy, using the stun animation

Just use a slowed down stun animation for the windup (so i can call em off in time) and a sped up one for the shake

thanks, my current system just uses Sparce Voxels, and not Sparce Voxel Octree, which I think is part of the reason why it is so laggy.

I actually don't know how to make something truly "Glow" In Lethal Company due to the way it's rending is set up. Like I set the emission on the Glowmob to be like 100 with Realtime lighting but yet it still does not glow. The only thing I can do is just add a light source to every glow pikmin or smthn.

Unity is very picky with the ammont of light sources there are in a scene from what i've experinced. I'm not sure if the same thing goes for Lethal Company because it uses HDRP while I mostly use URP and it might have different lighting settings.

Cook the bacon in a pan, chop into bite sized pieces and set aside

the original plan wasn't even for them to die in the Hydrogere, just get stuck. But the beta's code was too messy to add that so I never got around to doing that.

The way the Lumiknoll spawns is that it takes the position between the main entrance and the ship and places it there on the nav mesh. This system works good on some moons but on others:
- Obviously fix this lol
- Add an offset so its not in the way

iydk Copilot is a AI tool in the program I use to code (VScode), it has an auto complete feature which is shown in the screenshot. Auto Complete is a feature where the AI tries to predict the code you are going to write. The slightly grayed out code is the code that Copilot generated and what it thinks I'm going to write. As you can see, Copilot just entirely made up most of the code, the only one that is correct is the CrawlerAI portion
If it made them up, WHY are they 2 pikmin enemies that exist

and that's the only one it got right anyway
In the beta there was a bug where on the client side, you could see pikmin being eaten by enemies, but you couldn't see them do their attack animation/sound so it just looks like the just teleport into the enemy's mouth. This is because the beta used only BepInEx Patches in order to make them attack enemies, but now they use NetworkBehaviours so the animations can be synced.

The maneater interaction was surprisingly easy to re-add. But I'm not sure if I'm gonna say the same for the old bird interaction as that was kinda buggy in the beta and I could never really get it working without error.

There are several reasons as to why I cant just ctrl V and ctrl C. But the most simplest one is because the Beta code was buggy and did not work well without error
also that most stuff has been reworked, so the old code for Old Bird grabbing may not even work

I use VScode to program, and I use a (Free but, 10$ monthly paid for some features) Extension called Github Copilot which is an AI tool assistant. While I don't really use AI as much as I did when programming the beta, Copilot is still helpful. It's kinda like ChatGPT built directly into VS code with some other features. I primarly use it to help with complex things like System.Reflections and fixing some small errors in my code. I don't really recommend using AI to do a big chunk of programming as that could make your project unsustainable. I unfortunrtly don't have any real advice for learning C#. Because I kinda don't even know how I got so good at it in the first place, when I first started I legit thought that unity uses C++ not C#, but I do know that W3Schools can be helpful for learning programming languages https://www.w3schools.com/cs/index.php

Fixed a lot of bugs, now the only ones remaining are the ones that might be very difficult to fix.
A "Hack Fix" is what I consider to be a lazy fix that just puts a bandaid over the bug without entirely fixing it or getting into the root cause.

I'm moving on to add compats now, I'm still thinking about how I could make compatibilities with LCVR. Mabey have pikmin be throwable in both hands with a button held down or somethin and have the throwing require the player to physically hold back their arm in order to throw far, rather than looking up and down in flat mode.
Make it so if the hand is behind you you hold the grab button to hold a pikmin, and the faster you move your arm to the front of the character the furher the throw (and direction matters)
You also need to let go of the button as you move the hand to the front

The Rock Pikmin (pikmin 3) rig for some reason gets screwed up when imported into unity, (it doesn't do this in blender)
I should have dumped the models stright from Pikmin 3DX like I did with the other games instead of just downloading the models from the model resouces.

So I was able to Dump the models from Pikmin 3 DX and now the rig is working
I have no idea what the model resouce did to make the rig break like that
This is a certified models resource moment, I've had it break a lot of stuff
Just dump stuff myself because of it
It's something with the scale probably, I had issues with that until I started importing into blender first too
