I think you just drag in your png or whatever, then set the texture type to "Sprite (2D and UI)" and it generates a sprite. You then just put that in the sprite renderer and it'll project that

Played a bit of it in my solo pack and it was fun! I really dig the cliffside and scenery. I also like the ||alternate route from main to fire||. Simple route but I enjoy as an in-between of Titan/Art :)
Can't say much on difficulty balance in specific since I only did a few days (also my modpack in general is pretty unbalanced) but it felt fine from what I played

Yeah I think just all the vanilla moons have it set the same or very similar. I'm not aware of many modded moons changing it, at least I don't think I did, so that could be why you've not really observed it.
