Awesome modification that combines Lethal Company with Deep Rock Galactic game. Endless waves of deadly enemies, shotgun, teamwork, bugs and lots of fun included!

No, unfortunately there is no any videos about this mod because of all that commercial and license stuff (Ghost Ship Games didn't allow me to use DRG music at all perceive ) so I should find a good remix of DRG soundtrack or even a composer who can make such remix to use in this mod and only then I could think about some videos (I don't want anybody to get strike for copyright music, you know)

Yoooooo! Just dropped 0.3.0-alpha version of my mod where I added a lot of very cool stuff such as supply drop in the terminal store, TZP-Treatment (AKA Aid kit), custom soundtrack composed by @wary flume (VEEEEEEEEERY HUGE thanks for that my friend) and some little bugfixes. Swarms are a bit slow to appear, no matter what the moon difficulty is. Wouldn't it be great if they appeared just seconds after you equip the shotgun? I just wanted to mention that I didn't hear any songs or OSTs when the "Swarm is Here" notice appeared.

It would be great if we could stack shotgun ammo in the inventory slots, rather than just one ammo per slot.

The swarms/waves should spawn outside the facility. The inside is a bit cramped, and it's not ideal to fight with so little ammo in there when you can't maneuver as easily tbh

  • I think it would be really cool if there was a mission where you had to collect a certain number of samples from the enemies you killed.

  • It would be awesome if you could encounter larger mob variants with a health bar! Maybe even mini boss fights!

  • I really want to see all the enemies spawn outside, either from the main entrance of the facility or near the ship.

  • And it would be so cool if you could place mines or turrets!

  • Speaking of that wrong sound bundle path error... yes I did it again
  • The main objective of almost every planned mission is going to take place inside the facility, so I guess swarms inside it should be kept, however it doesn't mean that there would be no outside swarms (but actually both inside and outside enemies render would decrease FPS rapidly)
  • Your mission idea sounds quite interesting so it could take place in this mod
  • And finally about mines and turrets. This idea also can take place, but with really low range and damage because otherwise it could make the game too easy

Uh, this update was a little bit hard for me but I'm pleased to announce that v0.4.0-alpha is here!

Brief overview:

  • Fixed some issues with supply drop and ammunition pack purchase
  • Improved compatibility with another mods a bit
  • Fixed v61-related issues
  • Changed swarm logic a little bit
  • Added DLG Mission Controller Hub to the Terminal
  • Changed ammunition pack and supply drop after purchase text
  • Lowered danger levels
  • Added hazards which also influence on swarm chance and amount of enemies
  • Made an TZP-Treatment limits (and now your health cannot become more than 100)

And I also should warn you that if you're gonna test this mod on Artifice on 5th hazard with at least one friend your PC can explode because of the amount of enemies

Moreover, I'm not really satisfied with the swarm system, so if anybody have any idea how to improve it I would appreciate it a lot)

hi, i love the mod and I have some feedback:
-it seems to only spawn thumpers, this seems a bit odd but it's whatever, might be a bug idk
-add mini mules as scrap, and they need to be recovered for a mission
-add in a variant of hoarder bug thats gold, a "golden lootbug"
-get in touch with the guy who made the compressed gold scrap mod, and see if you can add it to yours: https://thunderstore.io/c/lethal-company/p/Charonym/CompressedGold/

  • maybe recolour the compressed gold scrap as bittergem and jadiz and have those be mission objectives
    -adding beer and drunk mechanics

I'm testing this with a friend at the moment, and we absolutely love the concept (and the remix) and I am excited to see what will come up next

Hello my friend!

I'm really pleased that you liked the idea of my mod and that you leave your feedback!

  • For now thumpers are the only enemies that are spawned during swarms and it's not a bug. In a older version of this mod the Bunker Spider was the second swarm enemy, but it has a pretty lazy behavior, most of his time just chilling on the wall, so I decided to temporarily remove it. Anyways, I'm planning to change enemies AI a bit and expand swarm enemies list in the next update
  • Your Salvage mission idea sound fun and I will add it into my to-do list
  • Your Golden Lootbug idea also sounds very potential, so I've added it to my list (I guess along with the LOVE level) ||definitely not the Undertale vibes :)||
  • Using Charonym's Compressed Gold Scrap mod is also a good idea along with recoloring and making it part of some mission
  • Speaking of main aspect of DRG (beer), that stuff would be added definitely in future updates

Also I may have seen a bug, it's a little strange but when playing in single player, the dropship drops a single shotgun with alot of ammo. With 2 players, it drops 4 shotguns and alot of ammo, with 3 players it drops like... 6 shotguns

This may have been me, a seperate mod, or some config stuff I broke, but it seems to have replaced the shotgun items with TZP

Oh, I've just tested it and everything was fine. Did you buy resupply drop on that run? Or maybe there were some item-related mods installed

Well, TZP should spawn when you buy resupply drop from terminal's store

Yea, you helped a lot. Most of my time I was testing this mod in singleplayer so I don't think I would mention this without your help. And also this mod will become a bit more compatible with other. Thanks!

Oh, and while I'm here I need to know what do yo all think about next stuff:

Artifice, Titan and other hard moons are pretty big inside, causing the swarm be less dynamic as enemies can spawn really far away from main entrance and fire exits, so I've already changed enemy AI a bit as now they get your current position once in a 10 seconds and going there. Also, I don't want thumpers run towards only one single player, so I'm going to add some cool script which name I hasn't came up with yet.

So, what do you think about this idea?

Not exactly 10 second though. It can depend on hazard level for example.
I just thought that showing them player position every frame or every second would be really hard for your PC to calculate

another thing you could add is "specialized" enemies, you know how drg has grabbers, praetorians, etc? could have flowerman, hoarding bug, maybee other killable enemies spawn with them?

I just wanted to say that right now I'm working on synchronizing values between all clients, and it's taking a little longer than I expected

The development is a really long and challenging journey. There are so many ROCKS and STONES.
But the main obstacle of all this adventur... SWARM ON A DIRECT INTERCEPT COURSE!

I apologize for this delay, but, v0.5.0-alpha, The SWARMy update is here!!!

Meet the SWARMy update:

  • There could be no more than some amount of swarm enemies
  • Swarm enemies now see players position every 10 seconds
  • There could be no more than some amount of swarm enemies targeting a single player
  • Added more strong version of Crawler which glows red color (pretty cool I guess)
  • Added SwarmAllocation class for enemies to choose target player properly
  • Increased danger level for each moon
  • Added the GOLDEN LOOTBUG:
    • Just added yellow light to Hoarding bug prefab
    • Hoarding bug now drops Gold Bar on death
  • Added Outside Swarm Enemies
  • Changed scripts logic a bit
  • Changed formulas that calculates amount of swarm enemies
  • Also added some extra Enemy Patches
  • Fixed some swarm-related bugs
  • Moved SwarmPatch into another file
  • Changed Crawler Enemy damage
  • Added extra references

Anyways, I'm really sorry but Crawlers (AKA Thumpers) are only enemies which show themselves awesome during swarms(
Also, since I'm not so good at 3D stuff, I wasn't able to create cool and cute Lootbug model, so for now it's just simple Hoarding Bug with yellow light

And finally, if you've encountered any bug, feel free to write about it here and attach LogOutput.log file if possible. Let's make this mod better together!

No need to panic if you are receiving TZP-Inhalant instead of Double-barrel. This is probably because a new item "Belt bag" is shifting indexes of objects in the terminal store. Solution is already being uploaded to the Mod Manager!

Does swarm music sound fine both inside and outside or it's better to turn that echo off?

im not sure if I'm missing some files but the ammunition or supply drop doesn't drop any weapon only spray paint

  • Ammunition and Supply drop doesn't depend on any files, so I can suppose that some other mod is shifting indexes of game items (I just literally forgot to change the way mod finds indexes of shotgun and ammo)
  • Speaking of earning money, I must admit that that I'm already working on missions which will be added in the next v0.6.0-alpha update!
