yeah I really need a config for turning off sonic's audio, because it's a little annoying hearing his audio over the whole facility 24/7
I'll see about adding some configs when I get the chance. Mainly just a dumb mod for me and my friends so I never really bothered with them. Gonna adjust their noise range too because like you say it spreads way too far (and some audio is still far too loud god damn it xD)
I have also had a couple new scrap ideas requested of me which might take priority, but adding in a configurable volume slider should be simple enough so expect that next update (probs in a couple days)

I also realised the audio was just setup wrong so the volume never fell off all the way to 0 no matter how far you were hence why sonic was audible throughout the whole facility, which has now beem fixed!

watching a group of 3 people chase sonic around a facility triggering every turret in existance might've been one of my favorite experiences in this game
we had late game upgrades w some speed upgrades so they were just slightly slower than him

no this issue was due to a recent change I made which broke deku. As far as i'm aware he should follow people fine still as thats never been changed
I think by default he has a 50% chance of chasing after the player who last held him
just noticed I broke the roaming audio in one of the last updates, it shall be fixed in the next update along with a new feature for the roaming scrap and potentially knuckles too as requested

Here’s something I noticed: upon loading a save, when you land the creature scraps won’t register as placed in the holding pen and run out. Currently I just take them out and put them back in before the first moon, but just figured I’d give a heads up

Can't change the spawn weight for mario at all. Every time I try to change this it always goes back to 220 (I saved and opened the game and I see him everytime. I'm trying to make him rare to spawn in for my friends not every single time!) Also sometimes items spawn in even when they are set to 0 or even a very low number. I tested that part multiple times and had the same results
have you tried regenerating the whole file?
hit delete on the config, run the game again, it'll regenerate, then try putting your value in and saving and see if that sticks

I set the scrap values to 0 and they still spawn in. Every time I have to go into the config and reset it and open the game again and fix the values. Then it all repeats.

some of them have volume sliders in the config however its not all of them, mainly the roaming scrap. I could look into making all of their volume adjustable for sure so your friends can have a better experience

also just because I could and my friend asked for it, I added in a new somewhat experimental mode thats DISABLED by default that randomises the size of EVERY item (not just mine) and adjusts their weight and scrap value accordingly. Very untested but if you wanna play with it, it's there!

I'm having a bug where the Holding Pen disappears from the shop after loading a save for the second time during a session.
For example: I load the game, and open my save, everything in the shop works perfectly. Then, for one reason or another, I exit to the main menu (but I do not close the game), then I load the save again, and now the Holding Pen is gone from the shop and all of the other modded items listed have moved down like 2 ID slots so when I try to purchase the Utility Belt from LethalThings, I'm prompted to buy the Hacking Tool for the price of the Hacking Tool from LethalThings

It probably is an issue with using LLL to register shop items, I noticed the same thing happening with LittleCompany, but only when the UseLethalLevelLoaderForItemRegistration setting is enabled. Also causes some of the items at the bottom of the list to become completely unpurchasable, since they're out of bounds.

@proven solar Also, ||Mario||'s vent crawling sound effect is quite loud and loops constantly for 12 seconds (which is the duration of the vanilla sound effect), you might've intended to replace the vent opening sound effect. A volume slider for it would be pretty nice, if possible, but I think the game sets its volume at runtime.
If you're adding the scrap to moons via LQ, you can override this in the settings for the scrap

this is a really cool mod with great mechanics for the scrap. However, I found that when you use a jetpack and when you get prompted with the e button with roaming scrap, it locks you and you are unable to swap items or stop the jetpack

It means that its a 2% chance anytime the person holding it takes damage that it will begin the explosion sequence
By default, the chance is small enough thats its borderline an easteregg imo
I personally like to increase its value a bit and make the chance much much higher for it to start going off when you take damage with it
So its a risk/reward thing
Also have some friends that decide to be suicide bombers with it when they lose an argument

@proven solar Recreating the lobby while this mod is present breaks the terminal store. when you buy an item it delivers the wrong item. Also the Holding pen item become lost from the store

I think the issue lies with LethalLevelLoader itself which is the api I use to add my stuff to the game, so I'd have to change some core stuff I think unless it gets fixed

Could it be from fixing the Holding pen glitch? Where it wouldn’t register in the shop correctly
Forgot to say before but yeah, this error happens everytime you open the game since the update that changed the holding pen to LL or whatever
Havent actually seen any issues though from it
seems likely, again shouldnt be an issue, will get to it when I have some time just for peace of mind

The holding pen is a lil op
It lets you hold any amount of 2-handed scrap without penalty, making it really easy to bring them back to ship
You could loot a moon going around with just the 1 holding pen, only downside is the rare instance where maybe a lootbug or something could run off with it
Its tricky to balance too because making it really expensive would then make it seem overkill for its intended purpose (holding roaming scrap)
I personally would recommend a blacklist/whitelist of what can be put in it, or just an option to make it so only Roaming scraps can be placed in it
would be great if only the roaming guys can be carried on it
Another thing is have the weight of the pen factor in what items you put into it, or how many etc.

I'd wager that there's probably a mod conflict, I haven't had any bugs with this one, it's one of the better coded mods out there
The recent LLL update seems to have broken this mod, preventing the game from loading past the launch screen
yeah seems the LLL update broke a lot of mods, hopefully it gets fixed soon and if not I'll fix it manually

what type of mods are affected by the LLL update? Interiors? Planets? Item mods?
Pretty much any that depend on LLL for registering and loading in, but planets are the most affected. A lot should still just work, some just need to be recompiled and others like mine has LLL events I was subscribed to that was commented out which is why my mod just stopped working
no real way to tell which mods will work and which wont until you try 'em really, unless you know how theyre coded
Hi, me and my friends experience crashes after few in game days with this mod active. The way this happens is when we leave the planet and during short load host game crashes. Different people hosted and got the same result + we tried different mod packs. Is there a way to know what causes it? Like maybe some mod conflicts or else?

Reindog is a dog that used to protect a royal family. He was assigned as their Royal Protector, however, when a dimensional cataclysm happened, nobody survived except for Reindog.
His real name is also canonically unprouncable

just figured out what mod was conflicting with the latest LLL update and it turns out it's this one. there's no errors but at the end of the round the logs say "no ship grabbable items to save" and if I try to reload the save there are no items left on the ship. I DO have the randomize scrap size config on (my absolute favorite) so could there be something not working with that now?
actually has nothing to do with that config 🤔 it's just when I have the mod enabled at all

I wish I had an error log to show you but really all I get is the normal unity log saying there's no items. I hope it helps somewhat though haha
hmm yep tested it and that is indeed the case... very odd. Reported it in the LLL thread for now as I haven't changed anything on my side so assuming it's something LLL has done, will hopefully have it fixed soon and sorry for the inconvenience!
apologies for the delay, but after further testing the issue DOES seem to be caused by the random scrap size config mode
At the very least I have not been able to replicate the issue whilst that mode is disabled
update pushed, that should hopefully resolve the randomize size mode breaking item saving!

Idk where to report this but when my friend went to the reindog realm thingy and he got out, my game froze (I was host + dead). My friend also couldn't interact with anything or do anything but walk really after that. Had to restart

hmmm yeah thats not ideal, sorry that happened to you and your friend! I've tested it a bunch when playing with my friends and haven't encountered anything like that myself, do you happen to have the logs?
It's fine and didn't cause any real problems. Also I don't have the logs, but from what I checked when it happened, there wasn't anything from your mod so idk (no errors or anything at all in the console). Could be a compability problem with the other 220 mods in the modpack 🤔 . But if it repeats, I can always disable that feature from the configs so not a big of a deal 👍
Side note: It happened on "Secret Labs" planet from a mod.
Mario does double the damage he should in the config, and his range seems very much so bugged meaning he is effectively unkillable in melee range since you take 60 damage every time youre close enough to attack him

From where i've played with it, yes? it seems fine
But the Mario enemy is quite buggy, death animation seems broke and has some jank as listed above
1-ups reviving at awkward times can also cause issues
Roaming scraps can bug you out if you place them on furniture during quicktime event and other stuff like that
The fan scrap seems really jank and pushes you at awkward strong angles, through walls and furniture and stuff like that
maybe one day I'll get around to polishing it up but as of now I'm kinda done with Lethal Company and as this mod purely started as a shitpost for me and my friends, I doubt I'll get around to touching it until if and when we start playing it again
hope you guys are at least having fun with it even in its janky state, and thanks again for playing with my dumbass mod!

Additionally, updated some of the values for Roaming Scrap, the Fan and Mario. These are mostly config changes so to see them you will have to reset them to default values but if you have values you like already obviously you dont need to do that!
||offering a reindog to the altar will give you a golden reindog which will teleport you back. As you get teleported there as a chance on picking up a reindog, you shouldn't get trapped||

I believe this problem is specifically with the roaming scrap only so you just have to disable them. all the other scrap is fine
Probably a dumb question, but how exactly does the 1-UP Mushroom work? Tried reviving my friend and him reviving me, but there's no prompt to revive and we don't know how to do it lol

Cause the bugged movable items are making it a massive hassle so would love to know how to turn em off for the time being
in the config of your mod manager
I just set item weight to 0 which means they won't show up and I also turned off roam chance just in case somehow I still see the scrap
Still haven't figured this out, would appreciate any help 🙃

If it hasn't been broken by the update like other parts, all you should have to do is just drop it onto the dead player, it'll revive whatever body it contacts
